Avoid at all costs this season! And the owner should be ashamed, hanging your staff out to dry!! Our waitress was brilliant, the few starters that arrived before she advised us to call it quits, were delicious (I rated everything as 1 star as this evening cannot be averaged out to a semi decent experience). But your kitchen is a disaster and your manager is seriously out of his depth. Numerous tables left, other patrons were yelling at the staff after waiting 1.5--2 hours for food, and we heard a number of angry customers insist you come to address the issues yet you left your staff to deal with this. We are on our honeymoon and decided to eat at Sotto as it was new to Plett. On arrival the staff couldn’t have made us more welcome. They had decorated a table outside with flowers and candles and welcomed us with a glass of champagne each. They even played our wedding song. Our hostess for the night was Unathi who couldn’t have been more attentive. The entire evening was a delight and the manager Athi couldn’t have been more accommodating. We ordered a cheeseboard for dessert but then they came out with a delicious chocolate cake to celebrate even decorating the plate. We couldn’t have chosen a nicer place to celebrate and will definitely be back. Thank you all so much for making this occasion...

We had a fantastic experience at this newly opened restaurant in Plett! It just opened a week ago, and my wife and I decided to go for something light, choosing a selection of “small plates” to share. We tried the Za’atar crumbed Halloumi, Falafel, Fragrant Fish Cakes (pictured), Cajun Patagonian Calamari, and a Tomato & Labneh Salad – every dish was absolutely delicious! The portions for "small plates" were surprisingly generous, and everything was full of flavor. Our waiter, Wellington, was attentive and made our experience even better.
