This is the absolute WORST MALL I have ever been to in my life. We were treated with the utmost disrespect from the security team. We have a Pomeranian puppy which we put in a dog handbag. We were there numerous times with the puppy and his handbag, no security or store employee ever had a problem. Today we walk in by the postnet and the security on guard said nothing about the dog, we go about shopping and a rude female security officer approached me and told me the dog is not allowed, I told her about how the other security said nothing about the dog, she then tells me yes maybe he didn't see. I told her that we are on our way home, she said ok, I just must not enter ANY shops, while walking away I could hear her rambling on her portable radio, almost like she's out to get me now. My girlfriend quickly went into Dischem While I waited outside the door, in a matter of 5 minutes, after talking to someone on their hand radios, they both approached me and asked me if I am waiting for my husband, I said no I am waiting for my girlfriend she just quickly went to grab some straps for my busted knee. They replied that I have to go wait for my partner in the car. I told them that I do not have a car, I use uber because I am a student. I straight up asked them, so you are chasing me away, chasing me out of the mall? The raised their shoulders at me and told me to wait outside the mall. I left and called my girlfriend telling her to meet me outside. While we were waiting outside for our uber, my girlfriend, holding the purse with the dog inside, bent down and sat on the curbside. The male security on guard at that door, the same one that was on guard at the same door we entered approached my girlfriend and told her that she must stand up from the curbside and claimed that she is not allowed to sit there because of the dog, also after talking to a female on his hand radio. I respectfully approached him and in my exact words, " Sorry, I just wanted to ask, that lady, the one that told you about us, what is her name?" He disrespected and chuckled in my face with a nonchalant attitude. He told me that if I wanted clarity I could go to the information centre. Very annoyed at this point already, I told him that I definitely will be doing that, what I won't be doing is ever stepping foot in this establishment again, you get rules yes and then you get...
Read moreLoch Logan Waterfront Mall is generally a clean and well-organized shopping center with a good variety of stores and restaurants. But I want to warn other shoppers about a specific experience I had at a kiosk inside the mall.
I stopped at a kiosk called Superior Accessories (photo attached it's near the escalators in the middle of the mall). I wanted to replace the screen protector on my phone. I asked the man behind the counter how much it costs, but he didn’t give me a price and immediately started working on my phone. I assumed it would be around R200 to R250 like most other places.
I then gave him my wife’s phone as well, thinking it’s a simple job. While he was working, he kept trying to convince me to buy a phone cover and other accessories. He talks very fast and keeps you distracted.
When I finally said I only want to pay for the two screen protectors, he suddenly told me the price was R750 each. I was shocked. That is way too expensive for something that normally costs R100 to R200.
After an argument and nearly walking away, I ended up paying R1000 just to be done with it. They also have a small sign that says “No Refund / Exchange Only,” which tells me I’m probably not the first person this has happened to.
Please be careful if you visit this kiosk. They do not give prices upfront, they try to distract you while working, and once they start, you're stuck. This is not an honest way to do business, and it’s unfortunate to find this in an...
Read moreAbsolutely disgusted by how Loch Logan treats their clients!
I am 8 months pregnant, and could not find seating (benches) ANYWHERE in the aisles between the shops on the upper ground level, as there usually were. So I found this small step/wall in front of this shop and just wanted to sit for 5 minutes before I continue my shopping.
The security that stood near by immediately came tp me and said I am not allowed to sit there.
I told her “as you can see I am pregnant and very far along. So, where am I supposed to sit if you took away all benches in the middel of the isles on each floor.
She then told me that she can see I am pregnant, and I must walk another 200m and go sit at Mcdonalds or one of the fast food places. (which by the way is at the very end of this whole floor, and it means you will have to buy food from them.)
Loch Logan! Time to step up! You want our money as clients, but as long as it does not inconvenience your or as long as you don’t have to deliver basic client services to especially pregnant women and...
