A hidden gem! We ended up dining in this restaurant because I asked to the guy at the supermarket next door for a good place to dinner as we arrived to Tenerife Adeje that night and we didn’t want to end up in the typical tourists restaurant with frozen paellas on their menu. (If you know what I mean…) The restaurant is almost not visible from the street. Anyway, let’s talk about the experience. The restaurant’s name is Sebastian but the owner and chef is Raul. A superstar from Granada (south Spain) who has created an outstanding menu.T he floor is managed by 2 Italian sisters (from Sardinia) Mika and Jessica. Always smiley and extremely helpful. Another 2 superstars! Please note that without the amazing service delivered by these 2 sisters, Raul’s super menu wouldn’t be that much appreciated out there…Maria is a young girl in charge of the bar. That’s the team (probably somebody else helping the chef). They are like notes playing together in a beautiful symphony… I was very honest with Mika at the beginning and I asked her if the menu items were handmade or frozen products. She answered pretty serious that everything was homemade and explained the chef story to us. We had 5 tapas to share between my wife and I and was more than enough. Everything was fantastic. Tasty, fresh, colourful, delicious, beautify placed and presented. The wine we had was paired perfectly to our menu… pay attention to the pictures of this review. I cannot recommend more this restaurant if you are in the area… Go and be beautifully serviced by Mika...
Read moreThe best meal we've had in Tenerife. 2x British families (including 4 children under 4) weary from a crazy experience at Aqualand. I stumbled upon the good reviews here and we took a punt and walked 20 minutes with all of our baggage. When we arrived we were a bit concerned... It certainly doesn't "look the part", and nor were we enthused at first by the reception which told us that they would have a very long wait as only one waiter and one chef. We worriedly sat down and proceeded to order (hungry, tired children in tow). Well, there may have been a short wait but it was SO worth it (if you love proper, decent food then you're prepared to wait for it to be made) The food was exceptional, so obviously cooked fresh. Absolutely no sign of any reheated food - the chef clearly cares about good quality ingredients and flavours. The fish was divine and each dish had a unique and wonderful flavour. We ordered lots of tapas and devoured all of it. The waitress was friendly and welcoming. Also the toilet facilities were clean and the ladies was well equipped for baby changing too. Very impressed by this hidden gem. I would make a special trip here on my return to Tenerife in future years. By far the best meal I've had here. Gracias to the chef and team. Also I loved the local white wine by the glass! Unfortunately I did not take any photos as we are it all...
Read moreA truly hidden gem 💎 Came here solely based on the reviews. It's a bit of walk from Fanabe beach, but definitely worth it. Staff greeted us warmly and we were fortunate enough to catch last free table for the night, so reservation is a must. Although restaurant itself is quite compact, you don't feel crammed. Menu is great and suggested vines go well with the dishes. Starter bread with 3 different sauces- amazing. Served deserts are a dream. Not a lot of things make me happy, but chocolate fondant was one of few. Service, attitude and staff themselves are wonderful. I really can not describe the experience with words.. In our opinion this was one of the most authentic Spanish restaurants we visited and price to pay for almost full course meal for 5 persons and a bottle of wine was not tragic - ~150€ (yours of course will vary)
I left the restaurant with tears in my eyes because there is very slim chance I will be able to come here again. I really wish all the best for the staff and restaurant itself as it truly feels like people working there care not only for you, but experience you get...
