Despite the fact myself and my friend were really ill on the trip, the staff were so very helpful and really lovely. I felt really bad for the other customers having to put up with my heaving into a sick bag throughout the journey. Absolutely gutted I didn't get to try the food and only managed to have one soft drink...I couldn't even lift my head to watch the assorted whales and dolphins or see the secret Pirate Bay. Thankfully someone was taking film footage so I bought a copy for the bargain price of 25€ and the photos at the beginning of the trip for 15€. The sun beds at front of boat are 20€ to use for the trip. Great if you have a strong stomach as the waves do get very choppy at start of journey. Highly recommend though as staff were really lovely as already said and attentive. Take waterproof camera, a warm waterproof jacket just incase it gets windy and a good suncream. Our trip was with Freebird Catamaran.

We loved our 3 hour catamaran trip from the marina to see pilot wales and swim. It was good for a 4 year old. We opted for one of the comfy sun loungers at the front of the boat for €10. These are limited so you’d have to get there early in the queue if you wanted one. I believe you can reserve one if you arrange with them at booking. Sandwich and drinks from the bar included. Ice creams chargeable at €3 each. Photos taken as you board (1st one €20 then each additional is €5). Port is very busy with lots of people walking, queuing for activities and day trips. Cafes and shops surround it. Water is crystal clear. There’s nowhere to escape the sun so take a hat /cover up/sun cream.

We booked a boat out to see the dolphins which we did eventually with patient the crew were welcoming and made out day an memorable also had our video taken which I cant wait to see it. I am glad we had this trip and everyone was friendly but we had guys from the uk which was nice and they jump from the boat to swim. It was a dolphin watching cruise. Its was nice and I wish we could stay a bit longer but has to come to an end. Would love to come again. I would encourage you all to do the same. The weather is beautiful and on our return the weather will be minus 1 which I am not looking forward too. Guys you much try it.

Puerto Colón is a lively and bustling marina located on the southern coast of Tenerife, in the popular resort area of Costa Adeje. Known for its picturesque setting and range of activities, Puerto Colón is a hub for both locals and tourists seeking adventure and relaxation on the island.

The marina is home to a variety of boats and yachts, offering numerous opportunities for water-based activities. Visitors can embark on boat excursions to explore the nearby coastline, go dolphin and whale watching, or indulge in deep-sea fishing trips. For those interested in water sports, Puerto Colón offers jet skiing, parasailing, and diving experiences, catering to all levels of expertise.

Surrounding the marina is a vibrant area filled with shops, cafes, and restaurants, making it an ideal place to enjoy a leisurely meal or a refreshing drink while soaking in the beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean. The local dining options feature a mix of international cuisine and traditional Canarian dishes, ensuring there is something for every palate.

Puerto Colón also boasts a small but popular beach, Playa La Pinta, which is perfect for families and those looking to relax by the sea. The beach offers calm waters, ideal for swimming and paddleboarding, and is well-equipped with sun loungers and amenities for a comfortable day in the sun.

In the evenings, Puerto Colón comes alive with a vibrant nightlife scene. Many bars and clubs offer live music and entertainment, providing a lively atmosphere for those looking to enjoy Tenerife’s...

This port is the center of turism and it look like the shame of Adeje. The place is badly kept and dirty. The souvenier shops block all the pasageways in the mall and it might cause a tragedy if any emergency happens. Most of the shops are closed, for sale or traspaso which indicates that the area is not doing so good. Many times you find drunk people being funny in this area. I don't like this area.

After a long time Google maps is asking me if this review needs to be changed. Not really. I do always go back to my reviews when I see an improvement or deterioration of the place I have reviewed. In this case of Puerto Colon commercial centre it is still a disgrace for the lovely area it is located in and all the Canary Islands. Please find the way to clean, make the place safe and give it the looks that a place full of tourists should have. Shops are paying for the community to make sure the commercial centre looks not good but perfect. This island should stop being satisfied with mediocrity and pretend...
