Don’t waste your money here, unless it’s on a strawberry margarita. This place takes all laws of physics and gastronomy and shatters them: flavored margaritas, particularly strawberry ones, are normally disgusting- here they are incredible. (Sadly, this is the end of the good news.) Mexican food, normally difficult to find authentic versions of but admittedly difficult to screw up, has here met it’s match. It’s unimaginative, mostly microwaved, with food and flavor combinations your toddler could dream up and likely throw together a little better. Service, which here could be their saving grace (or at least add a star) fails phenomenally. There is one nice guy who works here, and for him (and those blessed strawberry margaritas) I award this place one star. I needed it as I picked off unwanted meat from my nuked nachos and endured slimy glares from the “chef.” We tried....NEVER again. My unsolicited opinion: Go to Belen one block down and you won’t be disappointed...

The strawberry margarita was astonishingly-good: my partner ordered it, well..I wish I had too! Real, fresh strawberries with a salted crust rim. Yummo.
We ordered the nachos (with everything) and it was darn good: the shredded beef was so juicy and flavoursome, the cheese was just right and we got through it in record time.
We also shared 4 chicken tacos. I rate this a 4 out of 5. Solid, tasty and gratifying without been off the charts amazing. Very good.
We sat outside and the staff were friendly and helpful. We could hear the chef sing cheesy opera at the top of his lungs - having fun, it set the mood inside for the staff from what I could tell. I.e. happy staff, happy customers!
Again - cheap and tasty. Definitely worth a try and we're about to head there again tonight,...
Read moreVery unfriendly establishment. The gentleman working the front desk couldn't give a hoot that I was there. They only had a digital menu and it wouldn't work and he basically threw his hands up so I had to go outside the restaurant to look at the menu on the street.
He had no gumption to go get one of the old paper menus.
the food quality was pretty average. I enjoyed my meal but it wasn't spectacular. Four tacos with no beans and no rice and no anything were about $10.50 US.
You're looking for a little snack and you don't care about good service then it would be good to get a little snack there but otherwise move to the next place. If I lived here I would never go back.
On the front counter of the restaurant there were two microwaves....
