⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4-Star Review Louis Vuitton – Barcelona, Spain Associates: Marta (long brown hair) & Elena Date of Visit, July 2025 Barcelona’s Louis Vuitton boutique was one of our last stops on a European Louis Vuitton passport stamp journey, and while not our most seamless experience, it left a strong impression — largely thanks to the exceptional people we encountered. The boutique, just blocks from our hotel, had a short wait to enter. When I asked the front door staff to look up my profile (something my usual LV reps suggest when traveling), I was met with a flat “no” and directed to wait in line. Not a huge deal, but not quite the welcome we’re used to at LV. Once inside, things shifted. Marta, our associate, was fantastic — warm, attentive, and genuinely engaged. My Wife and I did some shopping: she found a lovely pair of clogs, I picked up a Barcelona city guide, and we got our passport holders stamped. And here’s where Barcelona really shined: Unlike every other LV boutique we visited in Europe, nearly all the associates here knew how to operate the passport stamp machine. It made the experience feel smoother and more personal — Marta stamped our covers herself, which added a wonderful sense of ceremony and connection that we hadn’t experienced elsewhere. We left that day happy, but returned two days later — the sunglasses I had purchased just didn’t fit right. That visit, we met Elena, who was equally professional and kind. She handled the return seamlessly and helped me track down a pair of terry cloth shorts that I’d been searching for across Europe — and somehow, they had just come in in my size. Elena introduced us to the store manager, who made time to greet us and added to the boutique’s overall warmth. While it wasn’t the most luxurious or private experience (this location is quite busy), the staff’s attitude more than made up for it. Final thoughts: Barcelona LV isn’t quiet or intimate — but it is energetic, well-stocked, and full of excellent people. The passport stamping process here was smoother than anywhere else on our trip, and the team (especially Marta and Elena) went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. A fitting close to our European Louis Vuitton journey.

My experience is not typical, I was supposed to wait but I walked in and my adhd completely made me oblivious to the individual with the tablet at the door. However Raul H. Graciously volunteered to help me and I didn’t wait. So moving on, I headed straight for the bag I’ve wanted for over a year but it wasn’t in the color I wanted and asked if it was available. I was presented with the very bag I’ve wanted but typically remained out of stock in the states. In 2 sizes but ultimately settled on the GM and could not be happier. They also made the VAT process very easy but make sure to have your passport so you don’t have to go back later, I didn’t have mine but I went back and everything was in order so when I arrived at the airport the process was seamless and processed to my Amex the following week. I did look very basic and touristy but the Amex platinum looked good so I was in an out in less than 20-30 minutes andI recommend to try the water there. Agua solan de cabras my goodness I’m looking into having a regular delivery of it in the states. I typically am offered champagne when shopping here but wouldn’t trade the experiences I had in Europe for the world. I can’t wait to go back. Again my experience is not typical and I am aware and most places I visited don’t typically allow you to just walk in. I am the exception not sure how just got extremely lucky. But I did have to wait at a few other designers which ultimately resulted in not buying anything which worked out because I avoided the fees associated with 10k plus at customs lol 😎

Having purchased from the Paris LV store, this was a huge disappointment. At first the doorman, not just at a luxury store, the job is simple, you open doors with a smile and warmth for all customers, which in this case was replaced with a frown and exhausted look for all the customers. Having entered post this, it is legit like a super market with hundreds of people wandering without an SA. After waiting for sometime, you’re finally provided an SA who is again NOT INTERESTED in making the sale. I bought two bags, but it was like I had to help her understand what my requirements were. ZERO suggestions, Zero on customer service, all she said was tell me what you want and I’ll get that for you to purchase. In other LV stores I have visited, they help provide a suggestion and are warm and friendly, but the Barcelona store is filled with men in suits who are RUDE AF, maybe they have forgotten that they are mere employees and not the owners of the store. I request LV to get a grip of their store here, cuz I’m never visiting this one merely cuz of the nonchalant / rude behaviour. Please get all the staff trained or replaced.

BUYER BEWARE! When you pay for items, you are given a choice of getting charged USD or EURO. If you choose USD, you get charged 3% on top of the item charge which the associate that was assisting me, Kirill S NEVER mentioned. I was rushing to pay as well so I didn't realize there are little letters on the card machine saying there's a fee on top of the charge shown. I assumed USD's better because I would see the exact charge right then and there. I made 2 purchases that day but I thought the final charges were slightly higher than expected so I checked the receipt before leaving the store. It said on the receipt there was a 3% currency exchange fee. Immediately requested them to refund and recharge EURO. Another lady rep was trying to prevent this by saying my credit card company would probably charge a fee anyway. No because my card has no foreign transaction fee. Checking my account now and guess what? LV decided to refund the SECOND CHARGES WITHOUT THE 3% FEE instead of my requested FIRST CHARGES WITH THE 3% FEE. Scam much?! I even have the refund receipts for the FIRST CHARGES so do they think they can really get away with this?

Also, when we reviewed the return receipts, one was missing. There was a staple hole on one of the original purchase receipts but no return receipt attached to it so we went back to Kirill S and requested the return receipt. He claimed he gave it to us already then proceeded to take our purchase receipt to the back and SNEAKILY RESTAPLED IT and came out and said it's right on top of the purchase receipt. We knew because I questioned why there were staple holes before returning to the store. I wasn't going to post this review to potentially affect any rep but the incorrect refund charges is a serious problem.

Of all the luxury brand stores we went into, these LV sales associates gave the worse service. They never give their full attention to you, always hold conversations with their peer sales reps while servicing customers, and never go further to show you anything without you having to ask for it. Never expected this from...

I whole heartedly recommend visiting the other Louis Vuitton location in Barcelona if you actually plan on buying anything. Visited this location twice; had prompt and polite service on the first visit, but had pretty terrible service the next day.

We had been waiting at a counter for at least 10 minutes, however, the sales associates kept flocking to people who arrived after us. At this point, I asked the next available SA, Levana, for help when she walked by. She responded with, “Others have been waiting!”, but realized we were apart of the “others” shortly thereafter. She showed us a bag that was similar to the one we wanted - she made no mention that there was limited stock and essentially made no effort to sell the bag. Given her attitude during this visit, I got the impression that she didn’t believe that my friend and I were actual customers. As this was not the bag we originally intended to buy (they were very transparent about that style being out of stock), we decided to wait for a few hours before making the purchase. We returned about two hours later, however, the bag was apparently sold out by that point. Levanna rolled her eyes when we asked about it, as if we should have magically known there was low stock. She added that, “maybe they’d get some more in stock in the next two days, or maybe not”.

Fortunately, we called the other location the following morning and were told explicitly that there was very limited stock of that bag, so we made our way over to the store quickly. We were greeted by nice, polite sales associates and my friend was able to purchase the bag without any issue.

Most people will purchase a LV bag regardless of the SA’s behavior, but you can always visit another location and make a purchase without being treated poorly. I genuinely hope that their SAs make some sort of commission - our SA at the second location absolutely deserves it. I’d have hated to reward the other SA’s poor attitude and general lack of any...
