Fascinating place to explore the history and culture of ancient Egypt. The collection is extensive and well-curated, with a range of stunning artifacts from different periods of Egyptian history. The displays are informative and engaging, with clear explanations of the significance of each object and its place in Egyptian culture and society. One of the highlights of the museum is the replica tomb of Pharaoh Tutankhamun, which is incredibly well-done and gives visitors a unique insight into the burial practices and beliefs of ancient Egyptians. Additionally, the museum offers guided tours in multiple languages, which provide an even deeper understanding of the exhibits. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, always willing to answer any questions and share interesting facts about the artifacts. The museum is also conveniently located, making it easy to access via public transportation. Overall, I really liked it. This is a must-see attraction for anyone interested in ancient history or Egyptian culture. It is definitely...

If you’re into ancient Egypt or just curious about pharaohs and pyramids, the Museo Egipcio de Barcelona is definitely worth a visit! 🕌 Here’s why:

Atmosphere: It’s cozy, quiet, and feels a bit like stepping back in time. 🕰️ The museum isn’t huge, so it makes for a relaxed, non-overwhelming experience. Exhibits: Highlights include stunning sarcophagi, mummies (yes, real ones! 😱), and gorgeous artifacts like jewelry and statues from thousands of years ago. 🏺 Make sure to check out the hieroglyphics—they’re fascinating! Interactive Elements: Look out for workshops or guided experiences—they sometimes offer these for kids and adults. 🧑‍🏫 Location: Right in the center of Barcelona, so it’s easy to fit into your day of exploring! 🚶‍♂️ Shop: The gift shop is great for unique souvenirs like Egyptian-inspired jewelry or books. 🎁

⏳ Tip: Budget 1–1.5 hours here—it’s bite-sized but packed with cool discoveries.

Not a must-see for everyone, but if you love history,...

Visited in April 2025.

As an Egyptian, visiting the Egyptian Museum in Barcelona was a pleasant and meaningful experience. The collection is well-curated, with a wide range of artifacts that represent different periods of ancient Egyptian history. The displays are clear, informative, and thoughtfully arranged.

What stood out to me was meeting an archaeologist at the museum who spoke several languages, including Egyptian Arabic. It was impressive to see someone so knowledgeable and engaged with the culture, and it added a nice personal touch to the visit. She was so nice and welcoming !

Overall, the museum is a beautiful space that presents Egyptian heritage in a respectful and professional way. It's definitely worth visiting if you're interested in ancient history or looking to learn more about...
