All in all, an unpleasant experience. Not due to bad fishing however, an unfriendly and rude skipper.

I have never written a bad review on here but on this occasion I felt it necessary. May I also add I’m in inexperienced sea angler.

As I stated before I did not have a bad experience due to poor fishing or lack of knowledge of the skipper. The skipper seemed to be very knowledgeable about fishing in his methods and area. Did we catch lots of fish? No. But this doesn’t matter it’s fishing, sometimes the fish don’t bite! There was zero introduction, the skipper didn’t even introduce himself. There was no explanation of the fishing methods at all, target species, fishing area, plan for the trip and zero explanation of technique. The skipper had zero interest on helping us to be better anglers, the only time he called for my attention was to take our money when we were leaving. His only objective seemed to be to keep our lines in the water and untangled so he could then go on his phone. When we had a problem with our tackle or techniques he would get angry at us.The boat was silent the whole trip and people seemed to just be trying their hardest to avoid getting scolded.

It’s a shame, as I said the fishing itself was very exciting at times when other anglers caught an amberjack and barracuda. But the skipper just needed to try a little harder to be friendly and informative as opposed to abrasive and hide his lust for a quick trip and...

This year I went to Resacca Fishing Charter for the second time with a group of four friends. Like last year, we booked four consecutive days and were able to choose different types of fishing. Our expectations were far exceeded on all tours. Even as experienced anglers, we learned a lot and caught the fishes of a lifetime. The captain and his partner really know what they are doing. They do everything they can to make the trip a great experience. We all managed to catch some great fish. They were super focused on the fishing the whole time, which I personally really like. But we also had very entertaining conversations during the trip, so it was an incredible overall package. The service around the actual fishing should also be mentioned. We were picked up from our hotel and dropped off again after the trip. During the trip, our physical well-being is well taken care of. This is an experience that we will definitely repeat and is worth every euro.

I have been using Resacca fishing charter for over 8 years whilst visiting the island of fuerteventura. Skipper Agoney's profecialisim and expertise will surely give you a superb days fishing. On boarding the boat which is has sufficient anglers on board to avoid overcrowding we are ferried to catch our live bait off Lobos Island. Once we have caught adequate bait we head to more deeper sea. Using sonar and skipper's knowledge we start to fish. Skipper is very accommodating to his guests on board assisting in every way possible, one of the reason I always return to this company.
