Pizzeria margherita — Restaurant in La Oliva

We came across this family owned restaurant during our holiday and it was way above our expectations. The hospitality was top notch. It's owned by an Italian family that moved there for their business. The owner is the one who bakes the pizzas. He spent decades perfecting and studying Italian pizzas and his craft is really reflected in the pizzas he makes. The dough was flawless, crispy on the outside but soft and perfectly chewy on the inside. I am not fond of eating crusts but just eating the crusts on their own felt like another experience on its own. The ingredients were really fresh and perfectly balanced. It was delicious. We even had their tiramisu, which was light but so tasty. You can tell the whole menu and eating experience was well thought out. We liked it so much we came again. Overall, 10/10 for an authentic Italian...

We have literally JUST left this restaurant and I’ve HAD to leave a review. Our hotel is really close by and we have walked past every night into town, even having a pizza elsewhere at the beginning of our holiday. All I can say is… I think this is the best pizza I have ever eaten (and I’ve had a lot 👀) I ordered the Fagottino and my partner had the Quattro Stagioni - delicious!!! If you’re looking for pizza (they do pasta too) you must visit here. It’s tucked out the way but worth the detour. Staff were friendly, service was super quick and the restaurant itself is just lovely. 5* it’s on my list to return to when we come back to Corralejo!...

On Happy Cow, a vegan app, I saw some bad reviews of this place. I hope my review can help vegans to give this place a try. The pizzas are really delicious and affordable. I had the vegetarian pizza without cheese both times. With delicious grilled veggies! The people are also extremely friendly and greatful.
