I reviewed another Argentinian steak place that we went to almost a week before and said this:

"The last time I'd eaten steak in a restaurant was in Lanzarote and prior to that at Miller and Carter in the UK. Both were poorly cooked and seasoned and in the case of the Lanzarote ones, poor quality of meat. I'd decided that I wasn't going to have any red meat this trip, but I was glad I changed my mind."

The steak in the other place (El Patio) was great and had my wife let me I would have eaten there every day since until my heart stopped. Since she didn't let me I booked a table here instead. (You must book a table - we went around 7pm and a couple of people turned up and got a table but most were turned away).

We actually had pretty much the same meals as El Patio but they were different enough to kinda avoid direct comparison.

We both had Argentinian Pasties (which before this week we'd never had before) which were awesome but clearly cooked in a different way (not better, just different) from the other place. (my wife has asked me to find out how so we can cook either at home). We both had sirloin steaks with different sauces.

Can't fault the food. Both here and the other place brought back my faith in steak. Highly recommend.

Where the other place edges (minorly) into the lead is in service. Can't fault the friendliness of the staff, however here they managed to forget a drink order entirely and forget which meal was which - I know that's not a big problem for most people but it could be if there's an allergy as we'd both tried our (different) sauces before we'd realised. (My wife has a food intolerance that made her very ill a different night for a similar reason)

That's just attention to detail though.

I've not had a steak I'd consider excellent for a good few years and this week I've had two. If I were you and weren't worried about eating red meat I'd try both of these places. I don't think you'll be disappointed at either, although your...

We visited here after a recommendation and so glad we did. A very small and cosy little place a few streets from the port so nice and central to the main area but not on the more busy streets. Really fancied a burger as not had one all holiday and without a shadow of a doubt this was the best burger I have ever had 100%. My partner had the basic burger which came with tomato and added cheese as an extra and I had the double burger which came with bacon sweet pickles cheese and a honey mustard dressing, both burgers also included chips. To say the burgers were succulent and juicy doesn't give them enough praise, they were both cooked perfectly and literally melted in your mouth. I would go as far to say the burgers were better than 95% of any steak I've ever had never mind other burgers. The staff were very friendly and service was prompt. I also had a goats cheese, onion and walnut pastie as a starter which was also super tasty 😋. For the price you pay in the UK 🇬🇧 at places like TGI's and Five Guys for their burgers which are nowhere near as good as here their prices were fantastic. For us the only tiny, tiny niggle was we would of like the chips to of been cooked just a minute longer but that may just be down to our liking so I can't mark them down for that, we hope to go back at weekend again and tbh I will prob order the same again as it was so good. This is probably the longest review I have done of anywhere I have eaten before just because it was so good. Thank you to all the staff, my only downside is that you are not in the UK 😢 otherwise we would be here...

I had the pleasure to dine here multiple times over the course of my trip to Corralejo with my Mrs & small child. Hands down best Resturant for steak in the town, I had the sirloin on a few occasions along with the 800g Ribeye & even larger T-Bone. Cooked to perfection, these guys know what they’re doing.

Service wise, exceptional, never too forced and the guys/girls matched the vibe of the restaurant not too fussy, just genuine people who seem to enjoy what they are doing. Unsure if it’s the Argentine way but just a breath of fresh air to be around and could never do enough to assist with a small child who was often very moody at times 😂.

I was fortunate enough one of the evenings where I was given a staff T-shirt which I will now cherish, really thoughtful of the staff and I massively appreciate everything you all did during our trip.

I don’t tend to do reviews but this place was something special and the staff here deserve all the kudos & a pat on the back for what it’s worth. Wish I had taken photos of the food but I’m not one of those guys.

Thanks for everything, you made my trip...

We started out with the fried cheese with honey which was excellent. As mains we went with the chef’s recommendations: pork ribs and the cerdo iberico. Portion sizes, especially the ribs, were huge. Meat was tender but slightly bland - not the best ribs I ever had, but certainly not the worst. The cerdo was very fatty but that is to be expected. Concerning the sides: fries were OK but not great - they would have greatly benefited from a little salt, which was absent from the table. Same for the potato purée which didn’t add much to the ribs and was bland. Atmosphere was nice (outside seating) and service was friendly but slightly inattentive, they forgot our second order of drinks. Overall a positive experience. They have recently opened a second venue (El patio) which we might give a try.

This place was way overrated. Service was the worst part. Steak was undercooked black and blue (no big deal--just had them grill it a little longer to medium rare). They forgot the chimichurri sauce they were overhyping. When I asked for the bill, the waiter automatically charged in USD before I got a chance to charge in EURO. His response was that this is the same. No it’s not, the difference was ~4% based on exchange rate, which adds up for a seventy dollar meal. Lastly, the “dry-aged” beef tasted exactly the same as, and had the texture of a regular Argentinian beef. No this isn’t usually the case. Each of the issues was brought up separately with my waiter and was brushed off. I never leave one stars, but this one deserves it due to lack of apology alone… let alone all the other issues
