An excellent Pilates Studio.
My main interest is running but I've always been curious about Pilates as a form of strength and conditioning. When my wife found this studio I decided to come along and give it a try. I'm very glad I did.
As a form of exercise, Pilates has to be one of the best things I've ever done. My body just feels so good after - my posture feels better, my core feels stronger and my hips and lower back feel open and better than they have felt in years. And it's a full body workout, not just the core. There is so much variety in the exercises we do and each movement can be progressed or regressed to fit your current level. Classes are fun but also challenging.
The instructors are top notch as well - very knowledgeable, professional and approachable. The classes are small so the instructors are able to give each person personalized attention to ensure we're doing the exercises correctly. It also means no slacking off!

Read moreMy first introduction to Pilates was in Malaga with this studio, and Spanish is not my first language. I was nervous to start with classes but Pilar and Daniel were some of the best people to help with teaching me the movements and really pushing me to work my hardest even though I was a beginner.
I stayed for 6 weeks and had 2 private classes to make sure I could use the equipment. If you’ve never done Pilates, these classes are necessary and of course are more expensive because it’s 1 on 1. After these classes though, I felt comfortable to join the main group!

La diferencia ? No se... hay tantas cosas !! los ejercicios son muy completos y variados y los profesores te van explicando que músculo estás fortaleciendo o trabajando, vas tomando conciencia de tu cuerpo y aprendiendo a escucharlo; las clases son dinámicas y diferentes, y adaptadas a tu nivel de tal forma que suponen un reto individual para cada uno. Se trabaja en distintas máquinas y de diferentes formas. Pero lo más importante es que no eres uno más del montón, el trato es individual y notas que se preocupan por ti y por tu salud. Hay una gran flexibilidad y mucho interés en que no pierdas ni una clase.
