Skyrland — Local services in Madrid

5 starts across the board!!! I moved to Barcelona two years ago from the states and one of the things I miss most is a nice selection of protein rich yogurt, like Skyr. It’s just so hard to find in Spain! So when I saw Skyrland on the map on my trip to Madrid, I couldn’t wait to try it. And it far surpassed my expectations! I tried one of the bowls and it was delicious, so I returned the next day for a smoothie, also delicious. The staff I talked to, David and Klevi, were so friendly and helpful. This was one of the highlights of my time in Madrid and I’ll surely be back. I hope they come...

Fui a Skyrland para merendar.

El concepto gira alrededor del Skyr, un producto similar al yogur que procede de Islandia. En el local ofrecen bowls y smoothies con el Skyr como ingrediente principal y también zumos. Todo natural y endulzado con Stevia, no utilizan ningún tipo de azúcares ni ingredientes artificiales.

Tienen tres tipos de sabores de Skyr para la base (natural, vainilla y espirulina azul) los dos últimos endulzados con stevia.

Nada más entrar, el chico, David, muy amable me explicó el concepto y el funcionamiento del local. Puedes elegir cualquiera de los bowls de su carta y te permiten modificar algún topping de los ya prefijados.

Existen tres tamaños de bowl. Yo en mi caso elegí uno pequeño que se llama Moon Nights.

Elegí de base Skyr natural para que tuviera ese toque ácido, encima tiene una mezcla de mango, plátano, piña, datil, mantequilla de cacahuete y leche de almendra y como toppings fresa, plátano, piña, granola y chocolate negro sin azúcar.

Ssciante y muy muy rico, y fresquito para ahora que empieza el calor, además un lujo porque no escatiman en toppings. La combinación del toque ácido del Skyr con el dulce de la fruta estaba espectacular, por no hablar de los trozos de chocolate que estaban increíbles.

Volveré 100% a probar más bowls y smoothies.

Es un gusto que existan sitios así naturales para poder comer rico...
