Recently I was Visited The Kandos Chocolate Shop in Galle Fort with my friend. It was absolutely fantastic journey. This chocolate shop is a true gem. The moment you walk through the door, you're greeted with the intoxicating aroma of rich, decadent chocolate. The shop have small space but it is beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you want to stay and indulge in all the treats they have to offer. The selection is incredible, with a wide variety of chocolates to choose from and not too much expensive. Whether you're a fan of dark, milk, or white chocolate, there's something here for everyone. The full range of Kandos chocolates is available here, one of the 23 island wide Kandos outlets. Very limited sugar free/dark chocolate options which is a definite area for improvement given how harmful the sugar is for everyone's health, specially the kids.

Appears overstaffed but understandable as it's a family run business. The staff is friendly and make sure you feel welcomed.

Very limited seating outside the Cafe and there are no other facilities like toilets or on-site parking.

Kandos is the best local chocolate brand, a member of Upali group of companies, but will have to innovate and improvise it's product range to include more 'less/no sugar options' as it has now been scientifically proven that sugar is the main cause for almost all life-threatening non-communicable deceases including, heart decrease, dementia, high blood pressure,...

Its a good place buy chocolate and have various flavours and moldings which is very interesting. I haven't seen a shop like this around galle. Space is bit of a challenge, only 6 or 7 persons can stay inside and but cannot spend more time to select what you need to buy. Some of the staff are friendly..common guys..you can do better than this...you guys in a chocolate shop but no smile on the face 🤣🤣🤣.. Other reviews have mentioned about the chocolate drink. It is ok for me, if you guys can add more chocolate to drink would be better. Cleanliness is bit of ok..pls clean the plates after serving..when a spill happens do the cleaning as soon as possible...buecuase it will make a fonky smell..Im adding this part becuase saw a spill and no body bother about it..thats why... but overall it is...
