Where to start? First things first... Restaurant is in great location and ambient is as one would expect from South American place. But do not mistake it for a south American restaurant. Many would say it is, but they do not even advertise as SA restaurant so expectations should be inlined with the fact it is SA inspired contemporary (ish) menu. One can see the great effort is made from the scratch (interior) to the daily maintaining (tidines, candles, great choice of SA music). So food: surprisingly good and a reason to come back. Should get rid of all off coriander what so ever since it's not an Indian place and it just spoils good food with a sole purpose of decoration. Drinks: wine list is not South American (3 or 4 out of 20 is from Argentina. Period!!!) and I skipped it all together. Mojito was fine, Pina Colada came with loads of minth and umbrella (Please, no umbrella anywhere. 1960s called...), and missing any pineapple in taste. Better rum would work better as well... Service was fine. The place is under stuffed big time and service people very young with no obvious team leader who would make their job better organised but they do their best with a wide smile and it seems they at least know products they sell. Little education on espresso would make a difference. So to conclude (if someone is still reading) nice place I will visit again with just a bit lower (but still high) ...
Read moreSo where to begin, first of all we came here to have an after work with my wife, even though there were only 3 tables occupied it took 15 minutes to order. My wife’s halloumi salad was okay, I ordered a Cuban sandwich and got a weird Cuban burger instead filled with half a kilo parsley and cabbage with almost no meat. Comparing with these prices the amount of meat in it was a joke. Then there comes to actual fun part. In our entire experience, the guy in the bar was using a very loud blender so we couldn’t even had a small conversation. Yes, if you are sitting inside, prepare to listen long melody of the damn blender, pay a 1000 sek for a mediocre food and go home to forget everything you just experienced. I’m sorry to be this rush but please put the damn blender inside the kitchen not...
Read moreAte here on our first night during our visit to Gothenburg. The starters and cocktails were good. The mains were a disaster. The shrimp salad tasted like it's been sitting in the fridge for a long time. It was definitely not freshly made. Very tasteless. Another one in our party got the main with tuna. A weird and tasteless dish. The salad was ice cold and looked like some lazy cook just had put through a food processor. The last person got the veal. This other best dish we had. It had some taste and spices. Unfortunately the meat was not tender. The staff was nice but very unprofessional. The table was not cleared between. The courses. Didn't know how to serve wine etc. Nice guys but untrained. I would not...
