Cafe Marche — Restaurant in Zhongshan District

If you’re planning to order more spectacular desserts on the menu, be aware that they require booking at least one day in advance, as they necessitate special preparation.

It’s a definitely an interesting place to visit considering their ig-worthy dessert options. Unfortunately I was quite disappointed by the experience.

We’ve ordered two desserts: matcha tiramisu (tasty and beautiful, looks like a miniature forest) matcha rapsody (designed to look like a ball that opens like a flower when hot matcha cream is poured over it) Unfortunately, the waitress served it without the accompanying cream or any explanation. We had to request the cream, to which she responded that she would bring it later. When she finally did, she began pouring it over the dessert without any presentation or commentary.

Asked for med rare steak and the waiter comes back to me and said the chef wants it medium? Then when questioned why he explains he recogmends medium. So obviously I said no any fool knows that is considered over cooked and a waste of a great steak. So it comes out blue and to be honest I am not surprised. If yu can't cook a simple steak go back to school straight away. Not to mention the sause had no balance way to much pepper. Desert was ok nothing amazing but the presentation was good with all meals so I had to give at least 1 star for that. This place will go under in 6 months if the chef isn't fired. Was only a chef for 15 years what would I know hahaha good...

Cafe Marche, Served the best tasting Salad I have ever had in Taiwan. It was presented perfectly and tasted amazing. They went out of their way to provide exquisite service to meet our dinning needs perfectly. I was highly impressed by our server the manager and the chefs. We had some dietary needs that are difficult to meet and they managed these difficulties perfectly and provided amazing food and service. I highly recommend Cafe Marche. They are a shining model that all restaurants should strive to be. Thank you Cafe Marche for making our dinner so enjoyable and tasty....
