I am so sad. I sat in her chair from 5:30pm to 2am the next day. I have never had any balayage/cut take 8 and 1/2 hours. There for so many silver, white, grey, yellow, orange, brown tones in my hair. None of them even. The cut is crooked also.
She didn't do the layered cut I asked for and kept cutting more and more trying to "fix" it, after I asked her to stop several times I finally had to step away from her and say "Stop. Put down the scissors, please." I paid €125, lost 8 1/2 hours of my life, my hair feels dry and brittle and looks awful. My confidence is dashed, and I need to pay someone else to try to fix this since she can't be trusted to do the correction.
Reply: You said my hair was tangled when I arrived. This is not true. I brushed it moments before arriving and she started immediately. The only brushing occurred after she teased my hair during the bleaching process and didn't condition it at all during the wash out.
You said my hair had color in it. This is not true. I had not had any color correction for almost 3 years and my hair had grown out to my natural color. I informed you of this.
You said you told me my preferred color wasn't achievable because of imbalance in my natural hair color? This is not true. If you had let me know that before holding me there for 8 and 1/2 hours I would have gone to another hairdresser.
You said I approved the cut before she dried it. This is not true. She dried it before she cut it and did the cut completely dry. I let you know I wear my hair naturally wavy and never use heat, and didn't appreciate her using heat on my hair, and could tell what it would look like wavy and requested that we wet it, which you refused.
You said I could come back for color correction. This is not true. I let you know I am leaving in four days and you told me last night that you're booked solid and could help me with correction in two weeks, after I'm gone.
You said it could be toned again and that would fix it. This is not true. I spoke to two other salons today and was informed it was improperly bleached and there are large chunks missing lightening that need to be bleached. They suggested use a clarifier to strip this awful tone, apply a mask to restore moisture where my before healthy hair is now brittle and dry, and suggested I give my hair two weeks to recover before applying more bleach.
Every response you gave to the incompetence and horror show that my hair now is are absolute lies. This is why I shared before and after photos. You can see that it's brittle, horribly toned and has a crooked cut. I understand why you're trying to scramble to make me look at fault to cover yourself, but there is no room for your lies if you just look...
Read moreFirstly I feel that the shop owner, Nuch is a fantastic hairdresser who really takes pride in her work. Definitely opt for her over the others if you visit! However there were some things I felt were amiss. I first found this salon via a reddit recommendation. I did a keratin hair treatment which caused stinging of my eyes and even throat as the product was applied onto my hair and during the 20 minute setting time. It was uncomfortable and I was squinting a lot. I asked Nuch if it contains formaldehyde, to which she said "ya". But her husband (Co-owner) interjected and said that formaldehyde is banned in Thailand and there are other oils that cause the stinging. I was a little surprised by that as only formalin-based products cause stinging as far as I know. I should have asked before we began. I went back on reddit to check the recommendations and noticed that the same person was recommending this salon on multiple posts as a third party who has visited the salon -- but it was actually the husband, the co-owner! While it is not wrong to promote a business in this manner, it's made me a little suspicious whether he was being completely honest with me. To Nuch, I appreciate your service very much. I felt like my hair was in good hands! And if I am wrong, please do reply here the names and brands of the 2 products used in the treatment so I may look them up, and I will gladly amend my review.
Edit to reply to owner's response: Thank you for the reply and clarification. I saw that there were 2 products mixed into the mixture. One is a white and pink larger bottle (called smart keratin?) and another one is a smaller darker coloured bottle. May I have both the...
Read moreI don’t usually leave reviews but in this case I needed to. I walked into this salon with curly, highlighted hair which had massively grown out and was covering all the colours of the rainbow from dying it over the years. The reference photo I showed which I have showed to many hairdressers over the years, was bordering on impossible with the condition of my hair (a platinum silvery blonde). I wasn’t expecting to achieve this colour, I just wanted to get as close to it as doable since nobody has been able to get my hair even close to it. The appointment was meant to be 5 hours but because my hair was a bit of a complex case (downplaying it a little), it ended up being double that time and Nuch and her amazing husband who talked me through everything, didn’t complain once. They made me feel so comfortable, kept me entertained throughout the whole process and the end result was so phenomenal, I’ve been grinning like a child since. My hair is platinum, healthy and feel the softest it’s been since I stared travelling months ago. The colour is completely even and the products they used were without the harsh chemicals so my hair is in amazing condition. Thank you both so much, I am so happy with it and if you’re someone with blonde, curly hair, trying to find a salon that knows how to treat it (which is always nerve wracking in a different country) I absolutely recommend here. This woman is a perfectionist...
