My massage at the Prah Singh location of Lila Thai was one of my best massages in Thailand, including much more expensive spa experiences. I booked and paid online in advance for a foot massage and the back, neck, and shoulder massage; two hours total. When I arrived my reservation didn’t seem to appear in the computer but there was no problem after I showed my email confirmation. Massages are in a common space with curtains; I was totally comfortable with the setup but be aware you won’t be in a private space, at least for the basic services. My therapist, Ampha, was terrific and found and worked out some deep knots in my shoulder and neck that I didn’t even known were bothering me until she fixed them! She was professional, pleasant, and communicated with me throughout the massage to confirm pressure and comfort. Lila Thai massage is a chain of Massage studios that are been given by womens, who are in fase of reinsertion in the society after being in jail. The idea came from ex former director from Women s prison in Chiang Mail,(North of Thailand). The woman's are professionally trained. The service is excellent, you will be introduced to one of these Woman's, and asked what kind of Massage you would like or need. You will get an uniforms and a key locker room.
