If you look closely at the stupas, you can see that each of them consists of five parts, which symbolize the transformation of one of the five elements (earth, water, fire, wind, space) on the path to achieving enlightenment. They are erected in places where a fragment of the ashes of the Buddha or an important monk is buried - in this case, it can be a building related to the school library.
