Drove for 30 minutes specifically to come and try out this place, but unfortunately didn’t have the best experience. Not one to waste food, it was a real shame I physically couldn’t eat it. The taste was awful. It was around 9am, because I’d heard that they have special discount price at that time. It was made clear straight away that options were limited, although we couldn’t communicate easily (my Thai skills are little). The food is buffet style, all freshly made from scratch with love and care. You can taste the quality in every bite — wholesome, flavourful, and never heavy. It’s honest, homemade vegetarian food at its best.
What really makes Hesan special, though, is the warmth of the owner and staff. They are genuinely friendly and welcoming, creating a homely atmosphere that makes you feel like part of the family.

We literally tried half of the different options and there wasn't one dish that was disappointing. The fresh market is just down the road so we bought some delicious fruits and enjoyed them in the restaurant...
