Truly a hidden gem hotel in Phuket Old Town, deserves 5 stars!!
I recently stayed at the Ratri Hotel Phuket Old Town for two nights and wanted to share my thoughts. The location is super convenient—it's right in Phuket Old Town, so it’s close to tons of tourist spots, all just a short walk away.
When I checked in, the front desk team, including Khun Mook, Khun Sunvo, and another staff member I can’t remember, were really welcoming and filled me in on everything I needed to know about the hotel.
I got lucky and received a room upgrade during my stay. The room had a cool Gaspy theme, was spacious, and even had a big bathtub. The bed was super comfy; I slept like a baby. You can grab some bath bombs in the lobby, along with a few other nice souvenirs.
On my first night, I decided to have dinner at Mon Chandra and ordered a bunch of dishes. The standout was definitely the Keang Kati Pu Yod Maproaw—it’s a must-try! The restaurant has plenty of delicious food and drinks, including some signature cocktails. Next to the restaurant, there’s a pool with this huge moon as a backdrop, which makes for a really nice vibe. They even had a live band playing every night, and Khun Nid was super friendly, always making sure my glass was full.
Everyone at the hotel made me feel so welcome. The staff greeted me with "Sawasdee ka/krub" every time they saw me, which was nice, even the housekeeping lady on my floor, Khun Chah and Khun Nan. Their friendliness really stood out.
I also want to give a shoutout to Khun Kae, the resident manager, for the amazing hospitality and the room upgrade. I loved our chat—it really showed how much you care about the hotel. The Ratri Hotel Phuket Old Town is lucky to have you on board. Keep up the great work!
I’ll definitely be back to see everyone again!

My wife and I were wrapping up our Thailand trip, returning from Bangkok to Phuket, and needed a place to stay for one night before heading back to Sydney. After browsing through Booking.com, we stumbled upon Ratri Phuket Old Town.
From the moment we arrived, we were impressed. The entrance was beautiful and inviting, setting the tone for the entire stay. The reception team was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The bellboy was also super friendly and helpful, adding that personal touch that made us feel like VIPs.
When we stepped into our room, we were amazed at how well-decorated it was. The neon lights and cozy atmosphere made it feel like a stylish, modern escape. The balcony view was a lovely bonus, and we spent a few moments soaking in the peaceful surroundings. Honestly, for the price we paid, the room was far better than we expected!
The breakfast the next morning was also outstanding. Fresh, delicious, and with plenty of options—it was the perfect way to start our day before we continued our journey.
In terms of value for money, I genuinely believe that Ratri Phuket Old Town rivals any five-star hotel in the area. It’s a hidden gem that provides all the luxury and comfort without the hefty price tag. We will definitely be back next time we’re in Phuket and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, affordable stay.

I stayed here in January. I borrowed a lighter on 5th Jan night to celebrate a friend's birthday and returned it the next day. But upon checkout, they said that we had not returned the lighter. We told them multiple times that we had already returned it but the staff insisted that we didn't.
Additionally, my friend had recently dyed her hair before her stay here and the stain had gotten on the towels. Upon checkout, they told us that we had to pay for 3 full-sized towels and 1 small towel as they could not remove the stain off of the towels.
Puzzled, we asked why they did not inform us when we stained the first towel? Logically, we would have used the same towel for the entire stay if we knew that the stain would be hard to remove.
At this point, the staff lied and told us that someone had informed us already when the first towel got stained. We told them that nobody told us but they insisted AGAIN that they did.
There is something wrong with the customer service for this hotel. Rude, dishonest and have no respect. My suspicion is that they took advantage of us as we were only teenagers travelling without...
