Sells Helena backgammon boards at 2x MSRP while claiming to be giving you a deal.

I came into the store looking for a specific Helena board I’d seen in other stores being sold for roughly $750 USD give or take. Only reason I hadn’t already purchased is that previous stores didn’t have stock of the color I was looking for

The clerk had the balls to ask the equivalent of $1500 USD and claim that this board was worth $20,000.

After I corrected him he said “This board is different, go check online”

I ended up buying online from Helena direct for $750 with free shipping to the US.

DON’T WASTE...

An excellent quality, made in Turky, chess and backgammon and games etc store. Top quality and non pushy professional salesman. There are lower cost items in some of the bazaars, but so is the quality. So if you know quality then this is the store you should visit. If you want low cost copies from China etc then go to the bazaars but still remember to haggle or you may pay top prices for low quality. Either way, it’s worthwhile visiting this store and enjoy the displays, and to see the different period chess pieces on...

Nice artworks, antiques, chess sets and boards, high quality with beautiful and unique material and all handmade. Nice place to get a souvenir, the prices are a bit high but I guess their products are worth it. Also the gentleman who runs the place is very friendly...
