assistants were nice to me at first; helped me out with products that would fit me, giving me ratings, trying the makeup on on me, and showing me new things. but they would be a little aggressive on the way they would try to sell me the products. a lady just took a mascara and a bronzer she thought wouldn’t fit me out my cart, and another one would look at everything i have in my cart and judge me for it, when i was just looking around and didn’t ask for anything. i was shy saying just no to them and leaving, because it could seem rude, so i just thought i could get the products out of my cart as soon as i left out of the way of the assistants. when one of them sees me pass by without the Dior blush in my cart he had put in, he goes “where is it” and repeats and repeats. i didn’t understand what he meant because of his accent but my mom tolls me what it was and i said i didn’t remember where i left it (im aware it isn’t very nice to leave stuff where they probably shouldn’t be in a store, but keep in mind i didn’t want to go back to the door section because i didn’t want this guy to talk to me and try to convince me AGAIN because at this point it was just very exhausting). he basically told me i had used him or something and then didn’t even want to buy his product? i had to GO SEARCH the products i left behind and hand them back to him on his HANDS as if it was my job to do so. but apart from that, he just ended up being just really mean, which he obviously wasn’t when trying to sell me the product; telling me i was pretty, laughing a little together, etc. when i hand the products back to him he just gives me a look, doesn’t even thank me and goes off. there was this other lady, same thing. he just agresively does some of my makeup with Givenchy when i was by myself at first looking at charlotte tilbury makeup on the other side of the store. she checked everything and took some stuff out of my cart and kept it to herself while putting other stuff in. i had to put a lot of things out when she wasn’t looking because the price was just getting too ridiculous. when i’m at the line to pay, she passes by me and looks deeply into my cart. she notices the two Givenchy products were no longer in my cart and asks me where they are. i told her i had to cancel it and she just says nothing, gives me a look and keeps walking. i have to note i wasn’t at any point rude to any of them, and to act very different when they see me without the makeup they picked than when they’re trying to sell it to me was just really hipocrate. i am also 17 years old if that info gives a higher context. this just gave me a really bad experience at sephora in istanbul and so did it to my mom. they should have kept in mind that maybe my mother wouldn’t want me to buy anything after that. she just did because i really wanted the products i had picked out. i have never before been treated like this at any sephora so this is...
Read moreWhen we entered this store, My wife wanted to buy a simple foundation for approximately $20 and the next thing we knew, we were approached by a saleswoman from the NARS counter, who realized we were tourist$$$ and then proceeded to make her up my wife very fancy with a lot of NARS products. We didn’t know the prices of any of these products and the woman discarded the $20 foundation product in place of all of these NARS products. The Next thing we knew we were at the cash wrap and the total was $700. it was an awkward situation because we didn’t know the prices of anything and honestly, I was in shock but we bought it because we thought the products were magic. She learned the next day that the products are not magic. They were just put over her make up that she had applied earlier that day herself so they appeared better than they really are. We decided to go back and try to return the products. however we were approached by the same saleswomen who realized what we wanted to do and she in addition to another clerk proceeded to tell us that we couldn't return because the majority of the products had been opened. they exchanged a couple products for us which resulted in another transaction where we paid an additional $20. We then returned later to speak with them again and learned that we cannot return the products after an exchange because the system only allows one process for exchange or return. It was a trap to have us exchange products so That we couldn’t return them later. please avoid this store if you want to save money...
Read moreA very bad thing happened yesterday in the Sephora branch in Taksim Square. I saw employees treating a foreign woman as if they were a gang. She bought a product from them and the employee added things to her basket and gave her the wrong products in different colors. When she returned from America to change them, they refused to exchange them under the pretext that they were late. In a week, more than ten people gathered around her. What is this stupidity with which they treat the tourists, even though they scammed her? I feel bad because I was standing watching her and did not support her, but I followed her and understood the story.Although I do not recommend visiting this branch, I advise everyone who visits this place to open their eyes to what the fraudulent workers are doing under their management and to look at them with disdain because of their fraud. Unfortunately, you are a very disgusting gang Indeed, we must not remain silent about these shameful actsYou should also beware of this fraudulent employee I also have a question: Is it possible that they do not read all the negative comments about their employees?...
