Şehr-i Saray Turkish Delight — Local services in Fatih

I wish that i could give this store minus 100 stars in rating. This shop has a very bad reputation and they steal money by overpricing that i have ever seen. Their behavior gives the customer a very bad feeling and a very bad reputation toward Turkish people as well. unfortunately they are not the only one that i encountered during my two days trip to Istanbul. First the shopkeeper entertain you with a Turkish delight and tea and in the end he tried to sell just a small box of Turkish delight for $132. He wrapped the box very fast and asked me to pay 4000tk. i refused to buy. Such people should be tried in a court for stealing people's money. They are not the only one doing such things and the travelers should be aware because some shopkeepers try to over price the merchants as soon as they figure out the customers...

Avoid this store and all the other branches, at all cost!!! They charge 10-12x higher for the same products sold by many similar shops. Not only were we ripped off massively from a financial standpoint, but we found insects in many of the vacuum sealed herbal teas we bought. This shop has ruined the entire Grand Bazaar for me and I advise anyone visiting any of their branches to proceed with extreme caution or to better still walk away before you are tricked into buying their below than average products. The cinnamon they sell is Cassia, they sell dried turmeric for extortionate prices and will chat a whole lot of lies about so called health benefits of their expired, insect...

I bought tea from here and I was pressed for time so I did not see them weigh the items even though I only asked for 100 g of each of the selection of the teas … be prepared to be charged more than 30 usd for 100g of tea here …

it was a very expensive mistake . And my 6 pieces of Turkish delights came up to 20 usd .

One packet of my tea which was supposedly 100g of tea cost 1700 lira . Which of by kg it should be 17000 lira .. stay away guys ..I think I got conned at least a 100 usd and maybe even more given the online prices I’m seeing now from the Turkish grand bazaar online prices .. legit charged 4 times the online...
