I saw your post and we visited Cheshmeh Kafe today. I'm travelling from the UK with my husband and son and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to visit - even though the journey took around 2hrs from our hotel. We found the store to be wonderful and it was great to see such a wide range of books and topics in such a small space and we picked up some great books for our son to read in his mother's tongue. My only downside to the whole experience is the reading group that was being held in the cafe at the time - they seemed unhappy with how my son was behaving (like a normal 18 month old tends to act), and came to talk to me 3 times. I should maybe have not been so surprised because they seemed to lack basic manners to each other. It made me feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable. The staff however, were wonderful and we enjoyed our time, but the comments from the group left a very sour taste and almost made me ashamed...
