Absolutely Unacceptable – Avoid at All Costs!

If I could give zero stars, I would. I booked this hotel in Istanbul, but when I arrived, the hotel was completely closed. A phone number was posted on the door, so I called multiple times until someone finally answered. That’s when I was told that the hotel had burned down 1.5 months ago! However, it should have been even longer, according to the Christmas decorations still in the windows.

I was never informed—not by the hotel, not by Booking.com. The hotel admitted they had only just informed Booking.com and didn’t see the need to notify customers individually. Later, Booking.com told us they were never informed by the hotel about the fire. There was no mention of the closure on their website or social media.

They directed me to another hotel, claiming they had arranged a room for us, but when we arrived, this was not true. To make matters worse, we met another couple from Japan who had experienced the exact same nightmare. Clearly, we were not the only victims of their incompetence and negligence.

After that, the hotel completely abandoned us. No help, no further communication—nothing. We were stranded in Istanbul for hours, forced to solve everything ourselves. It took more than three hours of phone calls with Booking.com to finally get a resolution and book a new hotel.

This was, without a doubt, one of the worst travel experiences we’ve ever had. The way this hotel handled the situation was utterly irresponsible and unprofessional. Do yourself a favor—stay far away...

The hotel has a very special location in the heart of the area “KADIKOY “and close to all public and private transportation. It is a new building with distinctive decor that is comfortable for the eye and the rooms, as described, are equipped with all basic necessities. When you request anything special, the hotel management and employees so friendly to help without asking for additional pay. The room is very comfortable and clean, the bed cover and pillows are changed on a daily basis with daily cleaning and sterilization, there are no insects or flies, excellent room lighting with very comfortable sleeping lights and close sockets for turning on and off, a separate bathroom with a modern toilet. There is a suitable size refrigerator, an office table with a special chair for it, a heating kettle with sealed tea, coffee and water containers on a daily basis and upon request , There is free TV and internet WIFI.

Clearly, a very beautiful, clean and comfortable hotel for families and individuals, excellent safety and support around the clock. Thank you for the deep welcome. I had the honor of staying in your hotel during...

Nice hotel, great location and just the best host ever whom we met by a miracle.

We came to Istanbul having our accommodation booked via booking. But having arrived to the place which we were supposed to stay at, we realised there was no building with the address mentioned. The host of the nearby located Meet Istanbul hotel was the first person we asked for help and he kindly welcomed us in and tried his best to contact the place we had booked in advance but when it turned our that that place didn't exist and we had no place to stay in Istanbul he offered us one of his rooms for a very nice price. All 10 days he was kind and helpful with every each guest he had. The hotel is quite small, but really good for comfortable quiet time in this lively city. The rooms are clean and have everything needed. We felt safe and really glad to spend our vocation here. Highly recommend Meet...
