Today I took my grandson to this place having purchased a half price deal on Wowcher. When we arrived we were told the machines for taking Wowcher details were down and so we need to purchase another ticket at the same cost as Wowcher and then claim our money back from Wowcher. This did not sound good as I had travelled there and I had already paid so I asked them to put it in writing what they had said to use as proof. They initially said they would do it on a few minutes and several minutes went past and they didn't email so I had no proo. Furthermore they also wanted me to pay an admission fee of £2.99 whereas in the Wowcher it stated 99p. I left withy grandson very displeased. It also transpired that the person I was speaking to was the manager but when I asked to get his manager he didn't say he was the manager! It seems this company has promoted their business via Wowcher offering a half price deal but when people arrive they get them to pay the same amount again which then totals the full amount so there is no deal. Whats more, there is this extra charge of admission fee of £99p or £2.99 and the later is not even on the ad. The place is a dark and bleak space with a bouncing inflatable which is dark and there is hardly anything flowing. It is not worth half the price they are asking for I am now trying to get my money back via the credit...
Read moreIf I could give this place zero stars, I would. I came here for what I thought would be a fun birthday outing, and instead I got an experience of absolute chaos. This place is a free-for-all nightmare. Kids are climbing on top of the play areas (a clear safety hazard), throwing balls at people, swearing, and being outright rude, with zero supervision from either parents or staff. Speaking of staff, they’re non-existent, and when you do spot them, they clearly couldn’t care less about doing their job.
There are safety instructions on the walls, but good luck reading them, it's very poorly lit in this place. I am well aware of the fact that this is glow in the dark, but the safety instructions at least should be lit up. How is anyone supposed to follow safety guidelines when they can’t even see them? It’s a complete joke and raises serious questions about how this place is allowed to operate.
The lack of organisation and enforcement of basic rules makes this place feel like a jungle. To add insult to injury, they advertise milkshakes with what looks like AI-generated posters. You can’t even trust them to show you a real photo of what they’re selling!
If you value your safety and sanity, avoid this place...
Read moreWe (3 adults) went to this place for my brother's 18th birthday, and it started off okay and he was having a nice time. However, after about 10 minutes we were approached by 2 staff in high vis saying we were too loud and had received complaints from parents, and we received a warning.
This shocked us as this was marketed everywhere as a place for both kids and adults to enjoy (the website and in the venue itself).
And with the nature of the activity, everyone was screaming and having fun - so we weren't sure why we were told to "behave like adults" and threatened so rudely!
The place was fairely quiet when we went, I reckon maybe about 15 kids or so, which when distributed across the whole venue meant we hardly ever crossed paths.
So we spent the rest of the hour being extremely paranoid about showing too much excitement, trying to avoid people and also noticing the man in the high vis jacket who lingered near us the whole time afterwards.
Overall, a very unpleasant experience which is in no way designed for adults to enjoy as they had...
