Have been twice this year. Both times having selected Switch game from their shelves, I've taken them to the till only to wait for them to find them and discover the games aren't actually available. The first time was shortly after New year's, so I put it down to the busyness of the season meaning that displays had been erroneously stocked in error. This time they checked stock at the other Game store and sent me there. Only to find the games there weren't in the same deals and so much more expensive. The second time I went was a couple weeks ago. There was nobody else in the store again, I picked a game of which there was only one case on the shelf, giving me hope it was actually in stock, only to be told again it wasn't available. They tried to send me to the other Bristol Game store again, but I refused since I wasn't prepared to go and find it it was more expensive again. I don't know whether it is bad management within the store leading to a lack of stock checks meaning games are displayed that aren't available, or whether it's a low level con to get you to want a game, only to send you to the other store where it costs more and therefore they get more of your money. I bought a game last week in the store, I asked about the refund policy and I was told I had 28 days for a full refund "no mention of gift card or exchange only'. I went in on Saturday and was greeted by the most rudest woman I have ever met in my life, Her attitude was vile, she sarcastically just pointed at the notice on the board that states 'exchange or gift card only' This is not what I was told when I bought the game, If someone mentioned this to me on the day, I would not of bought it as the game was a gift. They should of honored a full refund as it was a mistake on there behalf giving me false information about the refund policy. The woman just continued to be very rude. There is clearly a problem with her as there are previous reviews about her rudeness.

Read moreI know it's near Christmas is a busy period but today I popped in in hopes to acquire some information for a game I preordered with this shop. Upon conversing with the staff at the counter he was very nice and smiling.
Although, as I was not buying anything it seems that he felt like he could not answer my questions and I felt like he was trying to rush me. One question he had to ask his what I believe was management and she seemed very displeased to be answering him, her mood felt awful and she didn't come across like a very nice person.
The employee seemed to be trying to rush me because of this. That's horrible, I feel like the Higher Ups are to blame for this awfulness because as a previews GAME worker, previews management was exactly the same and some of my ex-colleagues did the same things because of the manager because of the strictness of the Higher Ups.
This Inclines me to want to order my games online in future as I DO NOT WANT to be rushed off AGAIN when I will be buying something...
