Reg The Veg — Local services in Bristol

Sometimes I want to buy some quick fruit to bring to work. 2 weeks ago I bought 2 tangerines for £1,04 (which I find a strange expensive price) and yesterday I bought 3 tangerines for the exact same price. It doesn't make sense at all. I won't come back anymore, the veg shop next door is way cheaper I just found out + the service is way faster over there.

Unfortunately I cannot proof I only bought 2 tangerines two weeks ago but I can proof I paid £1,04 for 2 tangerines and yesterday for the same price but for 3 tangerines. Unless you have a camera hanging around or you made a mistake on the till. Still, it is very unprofessional to say it's a false review while this was my experience...

Having been customers of Reg the Veg since over 40 years ago (when I think there were 5 or 6 greengrocers in Clifton) it's just dawned on me that we've never posted a review. Reg the Veg is a splendid traditional family-run greengrocer's shop selling high quality loose vegetables and fruit, bread, eggs, Christmas trees and a whole lot else besides. I discovered only recently that their excellent fresh bread is available also on Sunday mornings. All the knowledgeable team are consistently friendly and cheerful and they went out of their way in helping with deliveries during the lockdowns. We are lucky to have them - they're a great (and environmentally friendly)...

Frute and veg is great. But if you coming with a child be prepared I came in to buy some Strawberrys and Raspberrys took me like 10/15 mins coz a older lady employee won't stop TOUCHING my kid and as we were leaving she even PULLED BACK THE PUSH CHAIR to then talk to my kid again who was visibly uncomfortable and pulling away and she was leaning in like right in his fave while she was touching his and and other places like pinching his cheaks, I made obvious comments that he wants to be left alone what felt on death ears. .. if you value your kid's boundaries don't go...
