Get Stuffed — Restaurant in Coventry

Visited this cafe bar with the hope of enjoying an English breakfast. Sadly, the experience left much to be desired. The staff seemed under constant scrutiny from their superiors, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. We waited a lengthy 25 minutes for our food, only to witness a chaotic scene where a server wandered aimlessly, plates in hand, unable to locate the correct table due to the absence of table numbers.

We ordered two English breakfasts and a jacket potato. Regrettably, the sausages were charred, and the bacon appeared and tasted past its prime. To add to the disappointment, beans were poured directly onto the hash browns, rendering them soggy rather than crisp. The eggs were undercooked, and curiously, a tomato pepper mix was served as part of the breakfast.

The jacket potato was equally underwhelming. The butter hadn’t melted, and the cheese had an unpleasant taste, reminiscent of spoiled food. Disheartened by the poor food quality, we left our plates largely untouched.

Further dampening the ambiance was the sight of cleaning supplies haphazardly stored alongside food behind the bar, raising concerns about hygiene. Altogether, this cafe bar was a letdown on multiple fronts. I regret not seeking a refund for the unsatisfactory meal. Strongly advise...

It might be cheap but not the cleanest of places. Coffee cups need a bit more than just a rinse under water with no dish soap. Food? I got massively concerned first time I was there. Wanted a veggie breakfast but turned out they only had 1 out of 3 veggie sausages left (I knew the person before me had asked for veggie too). No worries asked for some replacements. We were waiting for out food for a quite long time and then suddenly I am being told they had found another veggie sausage so now we have 2 out of 3. I had my doubts regarding the orginality of the second sausage (they did look like they were double cooked) but no proof so thought I was just being paranoid. Second time the sausages looked no where like those ones from few days before, not double fried but there was some foreign object in my tomatoes. I had given up on this place in the end. Not the cleanest and Cappuccino taste like a mug...

Had the worst food experience here we ordered a vegetarian breakfast it came with bacon when complained all we was told was that the vegetarian breakfast comes with bacon are you for bloody real then came back with the same breakfast without the bacon I don't think the woman understands what a vegetarian is could still smell the bacon on the toast and side order of hash browns came 5 mins after the breakfasts and a tiny pot of brown sauce between us woman who served us was the rudest person in the industry and I've been to a few food establishments no refund no apology what a joke food is okay would have gave a zero rating but the guy who took the order was very polite and cheerful get more staff like him till then take a minute or 5 and go to rosebud cafe 2 doors down or 5 min walk to ball hill diner 2 very...
