Terrible service and waiting time. Ended up leaving without purchase. I was buying a Harrods shopping bag at £50. All bags on display had a keyring attached. There was no separate price or anything to say the keyring was separate. Went to the checkout where there was 3 people serving. One woman was having an issue with their card. The 2 other cashiers finished with their customers and walked away even though there was myself and 2 others waiting to be served. The other assistant kept getting the woman to put her card in and out of the machine. This went on for a further 1o minutes when I then asked if there was somewhere else I could make my purchase. There are several makeup and perfume counters with tills, but I was told that she would need to get a colleague. Eventually the girl left her post still not finished with the customer and went to find another assistant. 25 minutes waiting and I was able to be seen with an assistant. Bag at £50 was put through and is was asked if I would like a carrier bag to which i said yes. The cashier then pulled out a bag with was not big enough and said that's all she had. There were large green carrier bags on display behind her, but I was told they were display only?? She then asked if I wanted the keyring too as it was an extra £18. I advised that there was no sign with extra pricing for the keyring and every shopping bag it attached. The assistant said it must be a display model, but I showed her every bag with keyring. She said there was nothing she could do.
Not a good example of customer service and harrods should be ashamed of this branch. I left without any purchase discussed at the time wasted and the false information...

After having a browse around I came to the guerlain section of the store, I was greeted by Sharon who I can only commend for her excellent customer service I felt that she had a very good knowledge of the brand and was attentive to what I was looking for.
I was in for something that I thought would suit me after showing me various fragrances she had suggested spiritueuse double vanille Sharon had suggested spraying some on my skin doing a bit of shopping and coming back at no point did I feel under any pressure to buy a thing after around 10/15 minutes I left the store allowing the fragrance to settle I got to the front door of the store and decided I definitely had to have it.
I think based on the customer service and not feeling pressured into the sale unlike other stores it allowed me the comfort and the time to see if I liked it and this is what has led me to leave this review as I believe Sharon needs praise for her customer service and for more stores to give customer service...

She was so patient, friendly & made me feel totally at ease, even though I kept messing up the details & telling the wrong notesš She didnāt just try to help.. she genuinely went above & beyond to find exactly what I was looking for, all while offering some amazing suggestions. Plus, she wrapped it up so beautifully! Iāve rarely had such a positive shopping experience, especially at H Beauty.. itās all thanks to Donna. Sheās one of the loveliest ladies & Iāll definitely be coming back just...
