ImmotionVR - Brighton — Local services in Great Britain

Sadly a very disappointing experience due to poor customer service. I went to ImmotionVR in Brighton today with my brother and was asked to return in 20 minutes when the driving simulators would be free. When we returned there was no queue, but they were clearly having trouble with one machine, with both members of staff attempting to fix the problem. Due to this we waited patiently. However, once they had fixed the machine, they continued to ignore us and kept their heads down. The driving simulators were free but we had no explanation as to why we were still waiting. In total we were there for 40 minutes with no communication from either member of staff. I eventually spoke to one of them and explained the situation but he clearly was not interested and offered no apology for the wait, other than to say there had been a queue even though there clearly wasn't. Sadly we didn't even get to use the VR and had to leave due to the time. A complete (and very frustrating)...

Sadly disappointed. Spent a small fortune at this lack lustre VR centre where there were only two staff and only one of them had a clue what to do. We felt this was a complete rip off. When doing the driving games we were not shown the controls and when something went wrong we had to wait for ages for assistance. The same for all games and quite frankly I felt robbed £40.00 for 3 of us and only spent 30 mins there. One of us did 2 activities at £12.00, another did half an hr for £25.00 and only got in 3 activities (after I insisted my son had a go on something else having been unable to use the vr driving game as it kept going wrong). I booked a double session (2 hours) for my son's 8th birthday with 4 friends accompanying him. My initial impression was that this was quite an expensive treat and given the price, I had high expectations.

.... well, our expectations were met and then some. What a 2 hours my son had with his friends. All of them were totally engaged from start to finish, no time was wasted, and they all had an amazing time.

A huge part of this success was down to Hannah and Becca - they were absolutely phenomenal. Welcoming, calm, super-helpful and friendly - they are both absolute diamonds and I am so grateful to them both. They are incredible at their job and very passionate - it really shows and added to our experience.
