I visited Om Sweet Om a few times while volunteering at the Krishna Eco Farm and would recommend the events to those who are familiar with the different practices as well as those who aren't.
For me, I had never experienced kirtan or mantra meditation before, which were the main component of the events I attended, and I found it to be interesting, unique and special.
It was good to share in music, mantra, vegetarian food and company. There was a big mix of people and most of those from the Krishna community were very welcoming. I appreciated the music, the consideration and the warmth of the evening events. A couple of the people I met I now consider genuine friends. I think it's good to go with an open mind and come to your own conclusions or just simply enjoy the music...

I didn't know what to expect but I get just dragged from the chanting, the beuatiful music, the dance, the happiness of the people who managed the event, and with their great positive energy. Really uplifting and destressing experience, it took away the worries and made me meet amazing people. Everyone, of every age, had great fun and danced a lot, and the food at the end was amazing. If you are interested into spirituality you also had the chance to make interesting conversation and nice connections on that sense. It was just a great uplifting experience, highly recommend...

I had tried kirtan before but I noticed that these two times at Om Sweet Om, as a result of applying myself as fully as I could to the mantras, the benefits far exceeded any kirtan I had tried before (I'd previously been a lot more reserved and slightly reluctant to throwing myself into it).
