Traditional pub/diner/ hotel. We went in for a bite to eat so the review reflects only that aspect. The dining area is on the left hand side of the main entrance and it has table service ( point for that). However being an open space you are part of the busy check-in/out waiting lobby scenarios during the summer months. Probably in the winter much quieter moments to be enjoying your meal. The food: I opted for fish and chips ( £17.95) and I have enjoyed it as the fish was very fresh. The ribs and wings combo in bbq sauce (£10.95 for 8 pieces) was also nice but could have been served with a side plate. All accompanied by a bottle of Pinot Grigio (£27). Overall the experience was nice.

Went into the The Coach House bar yesterday with our Cockapoo, asked the waitress if it was OK to bring him in, and she said it was fine. When we got half way through the bar to get a seat, we were accosted by a man serving a table saying the dog is not allowed. It was very embarrassing, the man was rude and left the table he was serving to march us to the door to leave. I will NOT be returning, most bars in Pitlochry are dog friendly, so they are missing out and the man was just rude.

A nice restaurant with a casual vibe. The menu caters for everyone, with a choice of classic, Italian and varied dishes, a few vegetarian options too. The staff are very friendly and willing to help, and the price is reasonable considering location. A perfect way to end an Enchanted Forrest visit, which starts and ends by the front door. Oh, booking recommended!

Horrible experience. Went there with my wife, she asked Jacob if they had Porters or Stout beers, Jacob said "No" then we asked if they had any beer with a small taste of coffee, trying to make him understand what kind of beers we like, he replied "Like roasted coffee? (laughed at my wife), no we do not", then we asked for amber beers, seeing other tables having ambers, he again said "No" and giggled, then he sad "I will tell you what we have, will be easier" and proceeded to spit all beers he had, which included A Guinness (Stout with a bit of coffee flavor so you know) and ambers. We said "Ok , 2 Guinness" since we gave up. He had no idea what he had. Then another waiter or maybe the manager showed up, very nice to us, not like Jacob and asked us but we did not order, we were still checking the menu. After that, 20 minutes, Jacob NEVER even acknowledge our presence or offer anything, what an A*.hole. We ended up just paying the beers and left. That guy needs to...

Food was served cold and returned to kitchen promptly, then subsequently returned to table 10 minutes later and appeared to be the same plates reheated with some extras to cover up the issues.

My partner and I ordered cans of soda eacg, which I received, but my partner was given draft, which actually cost more money for less product.

We tried to rectify the issue, but the barman seemed unwilling to listen.

Staff generally were very friendly and helpful, minus the one barman.

The Coach House are meant to be well known for their excellent pizza's as they have a stone bake pizza oven for an authentic taste. I didn't order pizza (we both ordered the steak pie), but it was certainly the most popular thing order. Other patrons seemed to be very happy with the pizza.

Given the chance I would go back to try the pizza.

It was extremely busy, so I think the kitchen staff were a little overrun. The food was...

Having worked in hospitality myself I’m usually quite sympathetic and lenient towards servers but my goodness, the sheer attitude on these servers was genuinely disgusting. Made it very clear they wanted nothing to do with any customer in the building and were so rude. The wee girl with ginger hair was fine this doesn’t not include her, but the other two were genuinely just horrible and ruined the night for us (Michael and Laura). Just disgusting to be honest, think some service training needing to be redone. Also food took 1 1/4 hours and didn’t get to us until 1935 (after being told we had to leave at 2000 so we were rushing in eating). Food was good I will say. I definitely wouldn’t come here again. Disgusting behaviour from the two staff mentioned. Ginger girl idk your name but you were CARRYING the workload tonight, they...
