We have been back for a week now from what I can only describe as one of our best family get aways yet. We travelled over from Spain to celebrate my other half s birthday in Northumberland. Upon arrival we had a lovely Deluxe Lodge all ready for us, it was immaculate and every detail was on point. We even had a lovely welcome package with bread, jams, milk, Northumberland butter biscuits and a tin of cough sweets. Tea, coffee and sugar were all available in their pots on the kitchen side and the kitchen was fully equipped! We wasted no time going out to explore and took a walk down to the Ocean Club for a bite to eat. On our way down our children played in the park which as a fantastic parkour section (we all enjoyed that😂), we were amazed at how clean everything was, you couldn't find a single bit of litter anywhere! They're very much on top of everything.😊|When we got to the Ocean Club once again everything was on point! The food was delicious and you get very good portions! The same goes for the breakfast in the morning. Everyone was so welcoming as well and nothing was ever too much trouble. During our stay we used the pool, sauna and jacuzzi facilities and my daughter and I used had a massage and facial at the spa. Everything was fantastic, easily accessible and so lovely and relaxing. |We also ventured out into the village during the day and took an island tour with Serenity. We now know why they come highly recommended from Seafields! They were so informative and great at answering questions, we got to see the grey sea lions and thousands or puffins! We also visited Bamburgh Castle which was only a 5 minute drive up the road. The views, history and artifacts were incredible. Seafields is also in the perfect location by the beach with everything within walking distance. |I would highly recommend visiting Seafields and i have already to family and friends. It's not only a place that's immaculate with good food and facilities, the community feeling and the welcome you receive is second to none. We didn't want to leave and I already can't wait to...

Read moreThis was my first time staying at Seafield after recommendations from family, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
We were lucky to get in as there are only a few tourer pitches, the rest of the site are statics.
Due to there being less tourer pitches, the facilities were small. There were two toilets and two showers in the ladies however this wasn't an issue and whenever I went, there was always a shower/toilet available - even over bank holiday.
The showers weren't like a normal campsite, they were proper power showers. The baby change facilities were also above standard, my sister came on Sunday and was able to bath my nephew after the beach.
There was also a laundry room with a washer, drier and ironing board which you could buy tokens for.
The general grounds were very well kept and clean.
The best part about this site is the complementary use of the spa facilities, there is a large swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and an aromatherapy shower.
The gym facilities are also complimentary, they have recently had a refurb and all the machines are brand new, and most are Bluetooth enabled so you can hook up your phone.
There are also fitness classes available for a small fee - I did the spin class which was £3, the instructor was excellent.
The only cons to this site are that there is a public car park on the side of the site, and every night people were revving their engines (I know this is out of the campsite's control), and also the barrier keypad is on the wrong side of the road as you drive in ,so you have to drive on the right hand side around the campsite - this caused an issue when leaving the campsite with oncoming traffic turning into...
