Greek Sizzle — Local services in Lancaster

I was really looking forward to trying out this place since it opened, and withy partner being away and me on solo childcare duty for the first time in ages, I thought tonight was the perfect opportunity. I ordered food for delivery and was quoted a delivery time of 18.40 at the latest, which was fine. It eventually got to me at 19.30, after a phonecall from the driver asking where I am because he was outside with my food (I was stood in the window on the phone to him, and he wasn't!). I'd been delaying starting the bedtime routine because I had to wait for my food. By the time my food got here my daughter was starting to go hyper as she does when she gets overtired, and the only thing I could do with the meal was put it in the oven on the lowest heat to keep it warm. Because my daughter was so hyper it took ages to get her down to sleep, so the food was ruined. It might have been good, but I won't be trying it...

Tried this place for the first time today. Went into the shop and ordered a chicken Gyros wrap them found a bench to sit and eat.

The chicken, bread and salad were very tasty, but the fries were stone cold. They had clearly been previously cooked and been sat going cold for quite a while as they were no warmer than the salad in the wrap.

Disappointing as had the fries been hot (or even warm) it would have improved the dish massively.

Not a great first impression to be...

Food was a reasonable price and incredibly filling. I ordered the chicken.

Service was almost spot on but when I asked for no tomatoes the writing on the wrap was hard to read and I ended up with tomatoes... (Multiple order.)

Atmosphere was peaceful, the man behind the till was very nice and the place was clean. My only advice would be, please don't put your phone inside the display case.
