I went into superdrug in the afternoon, it was almost empty so I decided to go to the cashier directly to ask for what I wanted. I wanted a thermometer, hand sanitizer, and rubbing alcohol. There were two women at the cashier, and with each question I asked I got a no and when I asked for alcohol they both laughed and said that they don't serve alcohol here, I explained I wanted rubbing alcohol and then they said it is sold out : o. Although I understand they are common questions to ask at this time and they are probably sick of hearing them there is no need to respond with an annoyance tone and facial expressions. I proceeded to walk out of the store and then I remembered I was looking to buy travel size products, when I walked back in (I wish i didn't) this is the time I decided to write a review. One of them was serving someone else so I asked the one that was free ( NOTE: I was wearing a surgical mask (ANOTHER NOTE: I was recently in a flight so I was taking that precaution for my surroundings) and both of the cashiers were wearing the one-sided headpiece) I started to ask and instantly she responded while looking at the screen with 'I can't hear you' about 5 times and pointed to the headpiece with the mic risen up and the only other employ I saw was next to her, I responded with 'I just have one question' she looked at me in disgust and then said 'I can't hear you with that thing on' and pointed at her mouth. I was seriously taken back so I said 'you know it's not sound proof'. I don't know if she is a professional lip reader but I was wearing the same mask a minute ago and she didn't hesitate to respond no. If I was to mention the amount of sidetalk they had about me while I was standing in front of them this would be much longer than it already is. This is no time for racism and xenophobia. Read moreIf you're used to one brand of tables over long period then please stay away from this pharmacy because they'll show you the right brand but when you'll get home it will be deferent brand which is not suitable they'll not change them for you the very next day. I'll share my worst experience with you. I brought my wife prescription here because her usual pharmcy didn't have the right brand of sleeping tablets she was used to. I was shown the the right brand box she's used to and was very pleased even nominated them for regular perspiration every month. Got home wife said you brought the worng ones but they showed me the box you have been talking, brought them back next morning and explained ot the pharmacist that I was shown the right brand but they're not same tablets they are not suitable for her can you please charge them she needs them for Weekend Her reply is can't change them even though we have the right brand your wife needs. I explained to her I travelled to town to get her the brand she's used to that I wouldn't had left the counter if I wasn't shown the right brand box and explained she needs them over the weekend but no use. From her and an other member of staff attitude you could tell they couldn't care less that with out the tablet be a very bad weekend. When you picking your prescription they wouldn't tell you that check your madisons before you leave. My advice is check your medicines before you leave the counter otherwise they will not exchange them for you no matter how desperately you need them. They will make their own rules my previous experience at the Booth chemist was totally different once I was given mistakenly tromadol tablets instead of capsules brought them back got them exchange no...
Read moreZero customer service from shop floor staff, City Centre, Liverpool. I called in this morning before meeting a client for work and was unable to find what I needed. The store was empty. Approached a female in one of the aisles and checked she was a staff member - it wasn't obvious that she was! I politely asked if they sold the product I wanted to be told, 'yeah, it's over there!' Disgraceful customer service to say the least. It then took me a while to find my item, so I approached the pharmacy desk and the pharmacist who was really lovely, directed me straight to the correct place. Hey presto, it was that simple. Some free advice. If you're unhappy in your work, then leave. If you don't know how to be polite or be helpful at work then get some training and learn. I know plenty of wonderful people that would love a job like that, with a guarantee that the customer service will be far better than what I experienced today. I'll avoid visiting this branch in the future and take my business elsewhere. Big thank you to the female pharmacist for...
