I went there yesterday and asked about products for a discolored nail. The man told me that I probably needed to see a doctor but could wait to speak with the pharmacist. I waited for about 15-20 minutes, and then he went to the pharmacist and told her something. He then said aloud that, yes, I told you that you need to see a doctor. I had to remind him of my right to speak with the pharmacist and that if something happened, it would be his responsibility. It was not appreciated that he was trying to send me off.
I spoke with the pharmacist (an Asian-looking woman) and she said that my nail would probably come off completely and a new one would grow. (How come??!! Since when do nails come off by themselves??!!) She didnāt comment on the fact that the nail had changed color and didnāt offer any products. I ended up walking to another pharmacy where specialists immediately offered products for nail infections and provided proper advice. Iām sorry to share such negative feedback, but I was more than shocked by the quality of pharmacy service in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTerrible service from the opticians in this Boots. Staff at the desk rude and have a ādonāt care attitudeā I asked how much replacement lenses would be and told Ā£90. Same question I asked at Piccadilly Boots and was told Ā£90 but then it was reduced to Ā£57 when I told her Vision Express were Ā£30 cheaper.
The person at the desk in the Tottenham Court Road Boots said Ā£90 was the price as I have to have scratch resistant and polarised lenses there isnāt a choice.
I talked to Boots head office who told me all Boots charge different prices so it depends what Boots I shop in. I explained that itās a bit much to have a price different of Ā£30 between two different Boots for the same product. The customer service advisor said āyour feedback is notedā
Avoid Boots optician unless you want to pay £31 more for same lenses that Vision Express sell. Vision Express do an offer of two glasses for £90 in Boots two glasses £180!
Also much more knowledgable and polite staff in Vision Express...
