Disgusted around 1:50-2pm on the 04/09/2025 me and my partner walked in and asked if they sold a certain supplement, the lady at the counter was beyond rude, she was short and with an extreme attitude problem. Instead of talking to us like human beings she spoke to us in a rude manner like dirt that should be on the floor, a simple "I'm sorry but we don't have what you are looking for, unfortunately I'm unsure where you can go and buy it but you can ask Holland and Barret or the local pharmacy" OR "Here's our pharmacy they could recommend you the best option and advice." Instead this lady took a leaf out of Little Britain and may as well have said computer said no, she wouldn't even let my partner finish the sentance to the question he was asking. I've worked for Boots in the past and I know there suppose to be high standards across ALL stores. The staff needs to be trained and maybe have some work experience at other stores to see how your suppose to represent a brand thats known to have high standards for 176 years. Read moreOne of my worst service experiences ever. After having to call head office to get them to answer the phone as I needed to check if a prescription had been received. Then said no, I called my doctors to doable- check they had sent it, they confirmed. I called them again and asked them to double check they eventually found my prescription. I go to collect it and the staff are training in-front of me, no acknowledgment, smile or eye contact. So I say excuse me, customer? She curtly tells me she is busy training and in so many words not to interrupt. I tell her customers should come first and I shouldn’t have to wait if they are the only two staff in the shop. She very sarcastically asks how she can help me, I tell her I don’t need any sarcasm thanks, she tells me when is she supposed to train staff at home? I said that is not my problem but you shouldn’t leave customers to wait with no acknowledgement. She refuses to give her name and is sarcastic and curt throughout the service. Shocking. Their whole demeanour screams, "you have the audacity to enter this store and expect me to serve you?". The only staff member who gives any good customer service is the Eastern European lady. Three people behind the pharmacy counter and no one at the till. It looks a mess, is dirty, with half-empty shelves. This store and these staff, are an insult and disgrace to the Boots brand. No Boots magazines available.
What they fail to grasp, is that customers can get their own back for the sh1t service, by posting on sites such as this.
