It’s alright for photos, portion sizes are ridiculous with crazy prices, I’ve been to many hotels with similar pricing with a decent portion. We ordered a cake and ‘ice cream sandwich,’ and tea (english tea with MILK, I said specifically. The biscuit didn’t taste fresh very hard and tasted very old, tea was cold. I had to get up several times to ask for sugar, milk, spoon etc. when these should have been placed with the tea i’ve ordered…not once was I asked if I was okay, or if I needed anything like any normal cafe, it didn’t seem busy anyway; staff saw we were disappointed and just walked away without listening anyway i gave it 2 stars as the atmosphere was nice but staff and...

I bought the apple tart £18 (soon to be changing for a rhubarb tart) and the chocolate and hazelnut “travel cake” £26. They both actually travelled really well.
Obviously they’re pricey. But it is the Dorchester. The prices are similar to Cedric Grolet at The Berkeley. The taste is perfect so if you can afford it, they are worth it!
