Cheval Harrington Court — Local services in London

I stayed at the Cheval Harrington Court for four nights in December. What a fantastic hotel (managed apartment) in a fantastic neighborhood. Location can’t be beat as it is across the street from the South Kensington tube station where you can get pretty much anywhere. In addition the bus stop is right there as well to take you to Central London etc.

There are so many restaurants located within minutes and it’s a lovely area to walk around and explore. I was there as a solo traveler and felt very safe.

The apartment and building itself is immaculately clean and the gentlemen at the front desk cannot do enough for you. I want to thank Sumit and Raymond who really went out of their way to make everything perfect. I stayed in the superior one bedroom apartment with sofa and it was decorated so beautifully with a balcony and a kitchen that has everything you need including washer/dryer. (The one thing they forgot to tell me was that there is a binder with instructions on how to operate all the appliances in the nightstand drawer).

I love the fact that they stocked the refrigerator with butter, eggs, milk, croissants, bread, chicken, cheese… such a welcome thoughtful thing after a long journey.

The bed was extremely comfortable and the whole place is immaculate. I loved the rainfall showerhead as well. It was so much nicer staying in a serviced apartment like this rather than a hotel so you have the option to make your own breakfast or dinner and not have to run around eating out every meal. We had a lovely week-long stay at this hotel! I made changes to our reservations multiple times over the course of 6 months (poor planning on my part) and everyone I dealt with at the hotel was very patient and considerate in helping me make these changes.

I was a bit concerned when first booking due to the reviews talking about noisy renovations taking place, and we were warned about construction when we first checked-in, however, not once did we see or hear any disturbances relating to the renovations (which I believe are scheduled to be completed in August).

The rooms are very clean and organized with the kitchen stocked with most of the basics. They even stocked our fridge with some basic food items like eggs, milk, juices, cheese & salami and provided dishwasher & laundry pods for us to use.

The location could not be better. It is quite literally a few steps away from South Kensington station which easily connects you to the rest of London. It is surrounded by countless amazing coffee shops and restaurants and is walking distance to several London attractions: V&A Museum, Natural History Museum, Hyde Park and the river is a bit of a further walk but a lovely one.

Wow, what an incredible find, I have already noted Chevals other properties. Outstanding service from Raymond and his colleagues, really friendly, good fun and can not do enough for you. Received very informative emails prior to arrival. The rooms have been refurbished to an extremely high standard and beautifully done. Very comfortable, very minimal external noise especially in London, good curtains if you want it dark. No internal noise from other residents at all. The housekeeping staff keep everything beautifully clean and serviced. The extra bits - breakfast items ( what a surprise) full bottle toiletries to use during the stay and all the facilities the kitchette provides is absolutely superb. The location is ideal, tube station and bus stops minutes away taxis outside. Waitrose, Tesco, Pharmacy in the next road. We walked ok from Victoria Coach Stn and across Hyde Park to Libertys, Carnaby St etc during our stay. All of the museums, Royal Albert Hall and Harrods are just along the road together with every type of restaurant you can think of. A safe location.
