Dog & Cone — Local services in London

The kindness demonstrated by Taylor who was working at Dog and Cone is a tale worth telling. An elderly and disabled friend of mine was lost in the area of Tower Bridge where this food stall is located. She stopped by Dog and Cone and asked Taylor if she could point her in the right direction. Noticing my friend had a cane and was hobbling, Taylor led her to a seat, made her comfortable, and offered her a hot dog free of charge while she got on the phone to help my friend out.

This food stall is in one of the busiest tourist areas in the country and most people easily lose patience with lost tourists. Taylor was the opposite and went above and beyond the call of duty. While I can't speak for the dogs or the ice cream as I didn't have any, I was very moved my Taylor's humanity and would encourage anyone in the vicinity to stop by and support...

I had the worst experience waiting to buy the ice cream…girl with short black hair was incredibly rude after I approached them saying they take ridiculously long time to serve. She refused to serve me after i have waited over 15mins and after I walked off she showed us her middle finger which my partner captured when taking the pic of the place. Girl with longer dark hair working alongside her seems like she should be home drinking milk from the glass, that’s how childish she seemed. I don’t understand how this bunch of childish, immature and so unprofessional girls can work even there. They have no work ethics, no shame, no manners. Had some time to kill before catching the Greenwhich ferry so bought soft ice cream in a cup for the three of us. This is really a review of the ice cream. They may (I should hope) have better offerings. The 'ice cream' looked like ice cream, initially, until I noticed it didn't melt. It did not taste like or have the texture of ice cream. It's probably a concoction of ingredients with edible oil being the main one. It wouldn't be appetizing at any price. It merits no stars actually but the person who served us was pleasant...
