Horrible company – avoid at all costs!
Fresha will mislead you into switching to their platform with promises of competitive rates and no hidden fees. They assured me in writing that my rates would remain fixed, which was the only reason I transferred all my clients to their system. This involved a time-consuming process of having my clients create new accounts and adapt to their platform.
Once everything was set up and I was dependent on their system, they suddenly increased their rates without my consent or agreement. When I raised this issue, their only response was, “We sent you an email about the rate increase.” They proceeded to implement the higher rates without my approval, leaving me with no option but to pay significantly more.
This is financial misconduct and clear misrepresentation. I am filing a formal complaint with the Financial Ombudsman and seeking compensation for the financial losses and disruption caused by their dishonest practices.
Be warned – as soon as you switch to Fresha, they can and will do whatever they want, including hiking your rates significantly without consulting you. Read moreAt first, Fresha seems like a good system, until something goes wrong. As a small business owner, I’ve had repeated issues with clients being unable to create accounts, struggling to make payments, and in some cases being charged multiple times in error.
When this happens, Fresha takes transaction fees for each payment, even if it’s clearly a duplicate, and then again when I refund the client out of pocket to fix the issue. That’s money lost from my business to correct what appears to be a flaw in their system.
When I contacted their support, they were dismissive and unwilling to acknowledge any fault, even when I provided evidence. There was no goodwill, no refund of fees, and no real attempt to take responsibility.

I had a new balance added without consent overnight leaving me an debt I was forced to check out my appointments a few years ago and Warren said that there would be no charge - I had to pay over £300 in fees. My account has been disconnected multiple times without notice and failure to respond. It all seems very prim and proper on the interface - but “PARTNERS” be careful. Your fees will be increased and you won’t even be notified. I can safely say this has happened multiple times. Besides all of this - staff turnover is incredibly high - never had the same account manager for longer than 3 months and it’s almost impossible to talk with a human. Proper ROBOT company.
