Fulham Greens — Local services in London

If my rating was for produce quality alone, I'd happily give 4 (maybe just edging 5) stars despite some of the extortionate prices - however, ones shopping experience is not entirely dependent on product alone, service is of ever-growing importance. I've used this grocers almost since the day it opened, gladly "supporting local business" and in all honesty, staff are helpful when I'm in store and you can shop within a reasonable budget if you chose wisely. On the other hand, I've recently been sourcing produce here for work purposes, purchasing long lists of products in very high quantities. Despite this, I haven't been treated as a valued customer as I believe I should be; I've just come off a phone call where I was simply asking for the price of a pack of basil, nothing more than a 2 minute request, I was quite astonished when I was rather rudely told to "not do this anymore and just come in" (not something that can realistically be done when trying to calculate budgets for work) at which point the phone was hung up. I understand my "complaint" might seem pedantic but I just think this is no way to talk to a customer, valued or not! This has enraged me to the extent that I no longer feel inclined at all to support this local, independent business and what I once would have called high-quality produce at just above reasonable prices, I would now describe as a somewhat over-priced company trying to take advantage of the local community. Very big disappointment!!!! Before check out I was trying to clarify something regarding my £120 order. The sells person start talking to his Boss in Turkish and showing attitude that I am checking the bill before I pay. Then they start rising voice blaming me that I am holding the till and one lady waiting to pay despite that they have two tills! Message to the owner: Please remember that the client aways have the right to check before pay for anything. Furthermore, you don’t show attitude and shouting to your customers. This is by far the only place in the area to buy produce and other bits and pieces. I’ve been shopping here since they opened. Servat and his staff are wonderful. The produce is fresh and their range of organic goods is exceptional. I specifically love the fact that we can buy what we need, and there is minimal plastic packaging. We are so blessed to have Fulham Greens on our doorstep. My family love the great team and produce at Fulham Greens.
