If you’re looking for a hotel with an unbeatable location in London, Great Scotland Yard Hotel is a true gem. It’s tucked just off Whitehall—London’s version of “Chang’an Avenue”—in a charming little lane near Trafalgar Square. The address itself, 3-5 Scotland Yard, already sounds iconic.

Whitehall connects the Houses of Parliament to Trafalgar Square and is lined with UK government buildings. The area feels historic, safe, and incredibly central—can’t ask for a better base in London.

The front desk service really stood out—especially a lovely young woman originally from Hong Kong. She was warm, professional, and even gave us two complimentary drink vouchers. Funny moment: when we got to the bar, the bartender was surprised—“Haven’t seen these in a long time!”—and even called the front desk to confirm. Props to her for making us feel so welcomed!
