I’m disabled and recently had the unenviable misfortune to travel by the Bakerloo line from Paddington to Charing Cross, what an absolute shambles! Now then Mayor Khan step into my shoe and I challenge you to use crutches with one leg between these Mainline stations. Balance and hop or lunge yourself onto a train with large gaps from platform to train twice, then arrive at Charing Cross, physically haul yourself up flights of stairs and then negotiate two moving escalators, it’s an accident waiting to happen and extremely dangerous. No one needs to wake up and smell any coffee because heads are buried with people sat on their hands waiting for their next salary cheque.
