I strongly suggest HK London Hair! Firstly, the environment is super friendly and comfortable. You leave the saloon with a big smile on your face because everyone is smiling and happy which makes you feel happy too. I went for a root tint. It was my first time in HK.Mehmet Bozdal and Yucel Muminoglu took their time to explain me why the colour I had was not suiting me, and changed my colour to a very natural colour considering both the health/quality of my hair and how much the colour matches with me. They were so much patient and friendly to answer all my questions. I left the saloon happily. But this is not the whole story. At first, I could not get used to the new colour. And asked if we could lighten a bit the colour. Although it was out of Yucel’s working hours, he gave me a response very fast in a very friendly and patient way. He calmed me down and told me I could go and check with them whenever it was convenient. As they were expecting :), I got used to the colour and I have received so many compliments about my new hair. Today, I went for a check-in and a haircut, I had a wonderful hair cut from Mehmet Bozdal. I thank both of them for their patience, understanding, friendliness and guidance. Walked in for a hair colour at short notice. The first guy I spoke to was enthusiastic but didn't speak English. He quoted me £100. His English-speaking colleague then spoke to me about what I wanted and said it was £110. I decided to go ahead anyway.

Once my hair was washed after the colour, the English speaking colleague asked if I wanted it blow dried and of course I said yes. I wasn't planning on walking out of a salon with wet hair. He then said "That's an extra £50 by the way". Of course at this point I didn't have any choice but to continue. He also said I needed to pay rightaway as they were closing for Easter. So my hair wasn't even finished at this point.

My hairdresser was doing one other person's hair whilst also doing mine - I don't have problem with this, except the two other male hairdressers were doing one woman's hair at the same time and gushing over her. I felt like the ugly sister. And there was a general air of arrogance from these two hairdressers.

My hair looked good but certainly not amazing and was rushed. I also didn't feel special - for £160, I expect to be treated a bit better. I wasn't even offered a glass of water or coffee. You won't be winning new customers like this.

I liked my hairdresser, and I may well have gone back, but unfortunately, I don't deal with dishonest companies...

HK London is my favourite salon in London, in fact, pretty much in the world. The talent of all of the team is simply exceptional and they are the most wonderful, vibrant, kind individuals I have ever met. The atmosphere in the salon is sublime and you feel completely at home there.

Hakan is an extraordinary talent and focus on creating the right style to compliment your features. He cut my hair creating volume at the back, shaping my face perfectly. His enthusiasm and attention to detail is astonishing. Plus his genuine nature, kind heart and charming personality is something which is a rarity in London!

Gul regularly colours my hair and has helped me actualise my dream of being a redhead! She's so sweet and lovely, plus incredibly talented! I now have my tape extensions fitted by her and they look so effortlessly natural!
