There a lots of small things wrong here which point to poor management. It isn't possible to book for brunch but you can book lunch at 11am which is just odd. It's hard to get staff at the moment, but once you have them, they need to be trained. You will get much better staff retention and engagement from a well trained team. Service definitely wasn't at all rude but it wasn't engaged and it wasn't professional. When we arrived the waitress shouted across the room that we could sit anywhere. Like a caff. No one took our coats. We ordered coffee, drinks, and breakfast. The food came first, and after a long delay and a word with the manager, the drinks. The coffee never materialised. On our table we had two salts. The next table had two peppers. One of the salts was empty. Classic signs of poor training and lack of attention to detail. Midway through our meal we were presented with another table's bill. We re-ordered the coffees which were then delivered to the table next to ours. As for the food, hard to go wrong with poached eggs on toast although the toast was just dried out bread and didn't come with butter. Butter eventually came in little foil packs like the ones you get in motorway service stations. Despite all these minor blunders, the manager didn't offer any form of apology or to take the service off the bill. There was no atmosphere, no warmth, no welcome or farewell despite there being almost as many staff as customers....

I generally don’t write reviews but this one is special and I couldn’t wait to write.
My whole experience with Beaufort House for our party on December 4th was way way more than I expected and I would give 200% credit to Patricia and her team who made the whole event an experience to remember. From the very start til the end the whole team were “ on the case” ( literally) and gone above and beyond to help me on the day. It was a team work throughout and Patricia literally took everything on her hands and managed the food drinks, set up , wind up anything and everything!! Even some of the parents said they have not seen such cooperative staff anywhere else in the area. Patricia literally eased my anxiety and made sure everything run smoothly,.. I was beyond impressed !! So helpful, extremely energetic, polite and super professional.,, this was Patricia on the day! We need more people like her in the world to make our days brighter! Also want to shout out Amanda who was super helpful and polite and always smiled with every request made! I want to Thank and shout out every single one on the day who helped with Dylan’s 6th birthday party!! What an experience with Beaufort House and we can’t wait to return to this place next year for yet another amazing experience!! Thank you so so much...

I was told by the staff i had a weeks advance period to cancel the private room for my baby shower. i told her ok in that case i will book the room and come back with my BS organiser. She was not helpful at all and after telling me no we have no prosecco only whats on the menu i decided to change venue. Of course they then refused to return my £250 deposit, slapping me with a policy which they had not given to me prior to the booking. One director over whatsapp conversation told me he will give me a voucher for the money and even called me 'your royal highness'. After this he then re directed me to the other director Simon who i explained i had not recieved any terms or conditions or poliocy and what his employee told me. Simon only decided to decline to give me anything, not even the voucher.
If they deny any of the above with a lovely message that now they will write in order to appear online for all other viewers... then i will be obliged to post the whatsapp conversations also.
This Venue knew i was 8 months pregnant, and treated me in the worst possible way. The whole situation stressed me out so much that i gave up replying to their emails.
Please AVOID this venue at all costs, especially their 'private room hire' . They do not care about the customer, they care only about the...
