I went in there with my two kids to buy firewood and at the counter they keep toys at kids’ levels intentionally to elicit a forced purchase when the kid starts crying for the toy he picked up. I bought two rubbery items and after 5 minutes one broke and a yellow liquid spilled whilst my 5yo was playing with it making a mess all over the inside of my car and my wife’s dress. Went back inside asking for a refund and compensation and was asked to get out of the shop and sue as it was a bank holiday and the boss wasn’t there. I asked what was the company name trading on the premises and they said that I should look for it online or check my receipt. In general a little Aladdin's cave and they seem to stock almost everything. However, I live abroad and just purchased a double adapter plug, but it fused the first time I used it. I won't be back to return it for about 3 months, so hopefully they will exchange for another, otherwise £20 down the drain (which I thought actually rather expensive).
