Fantastic store that has some good prices! It’s lacking in a freezer section which is a shame! But canned foods are dirt cheap in here.
Has a card section and little accessories.
Has a decent little array of vegan foods and the shop is spanned over two floors and connects directly into green park tube station so it’s very accessible.
Open good hours for locals and people passing though.
Is fully served with self service checkout which I absolutely love to see! More humans can go an enjoy their pleasure and leisure time without having to do that task of a machine. Read moreNo real checkouts, entirely self service. This store used to have a row of 8 or so checkouts, many of which were staffed during the day. But those days are gone. Now there's two walls full of robotills, users struggling to use them, 1 or 2 staff struggling to help those customers, everyone stressed and disappointed, trying to make the best of it.
Anyway, this store is now dead to me. Humans are an essential part of the checkout experience. Marks & Spencer's have chosen the side of the machines. Read moreI pass by this branch about 2 to 3 times a week, specially for the sourdough baguette and sometimes for other items as well. What I noticed the staff are generally helpful and friendly. However I would like to point out the member of staff who stands out for me, his name is Kush, works at the bakery section, along with a lady, they normally do the early morning shift, as they recognise me, they now see me and bring the baguette out for me even if its not on the shelf yet.. for that, I am so grateful.
