I visited Shot during my exam season and ended up going there every day for about a week to work on my final year project. It's an ideal spot for studying, with plenty of charging outlets. The staff are exceptionally friendly and caring, making me feel right at home.
Throughout the week, I got to know the staff, and they consistently checked in to see if I needed anything or if I was okay. One day, I needed some paper and a pen, and they promptly provided them. I accidentally knocked over my laptop, causing a glass to fall and shatter on the floor. The staff were incredibly understanding, turning the incident into a light-hearted joke for the rest of the week. They even brought me a new drink and made sure I wasn't hurt by the broken glass.
Najeeb, one of the staff members, stood out for his kindness. We discovered that we were studying the same subject, and he even helped me with my project, offering valuable feedback. One evening, I finished late, around 11:30 pm. It was winter, dark, and raining heavily. While I waited for an Uber, the staff told me to stay under cover to avoid getting wet. The security guard directed me to stand near a heater to stay warm until my ride arrived. Najeeb checked the car number and fetched the Uber to ensure I didn't have to walk far in the rain. They wished me a safe journey home, showing just how considerate they all are.
The only suggestion I have is that I wish they offered more food options, like desserts or sandwiches. However, the drinks selection is excellent and the pistachio iced latte is so good. Overall, Shot provided a wonderful experience, and the staff truly take care of...
Read more*Customer service 0/5 * I am a hospitality professional working with a big global hotel brand so I would start with saying - I know what and how hospitality customer service is and should be. Yesterday on 15th august after craving for a good coffee I came across this cafe with a rating of 3 something. I saw the pictures and was amazed to try it out. I went with my frnds and ordered staff’s recommendation house coffee. Now let me tell you, being it in Mayfair it’s okay to have a cup of coffee priced more than £10. But what shocked me was the horrible customer service. After we got our coffee we took some pics ( attached ) and requested napkins. They delivered the napkins and by default during that process the full glass of coffee spilled. That’s okay too. It happens. Completely normal. What was a shocker that the staff saw it and ignored it and choose to look away. Fine ! If out of generosity ( which I have always seen in high end places ) you don’t wanna offer a new fresh coffee for free as all Of it was spilled , you could have offered to clean it immediately and asked if we were okay or would like to order another coffee. NOTHING. Theh walked pass us and saw us struggling wiping all the spilled coffee. Completely disappointed with such low service and ignorance. I didn’t want another coffee for free. But I would have appreciated the gesture and consideration out of a good customer care and lookou, which obviously you lacked. And there wa snot 1 but quite a few staff roaming around our table. #SHAMEFULL
I would suggest and recommend this place as the coffee of my frnds were not that...
Read moreI was going in to order and I was stopped at the door, where someone asked me what do I want, I explained that I wanted to order a coffee and my friends were sitting outside, he said if you know what you want I will come to take the order. I went back outside, this other waiter comes out asking us to pay 2£ per person to sit outside, he did not only never asked us if we wanted to drink something but he assumed we were poor and told us that we couldn't sit there, after several minutes of trying to understand what he was saying, we explained that we wanted to order coffees and he placed an order that never arrived. I went inside after 20 minutes upset and feeling humiliated and asked about the coffees and another waiter told me, he didn't know about this order. After explaining the situation to him they took ten additional minutes to bring the coffees in the takeaway cups when we were clearly sitting there. When we asked why this bheaviuor and why are they giving us takeaway cups, he said to us that by company policy they where not allowed to bring proper mugs outside. After 3 minutes arabic people were served with proper mugs and treated very well and with respect. On the top of that we paid the full price on that service, there was not even an apoligy, and every member of staff was laughing. That was the worst experience ever, my friend was visiting London and I felt so embarassed. I've never been treated so pourly in my entire life. I don't reccomand...
